Are you cooked through and through?

The drug you swallow or shoot in your veins is never going to be enough. The drinks you get drunk on one day won’t bring satisfaction the next. You’ll want more. Nothing can fill the hunger for real peace, love, or joy. The immorality you engage in will just bring you to the point of wanting to do more and more.
Trying to make yourself feel good by external means when you are lacking internally never works. It’s temporary. You can’t satisfy a spiritual need with something physical. You can spend your whole life trying, but only Christ living in you and through you can meet that deep need.

You can live without recognizing God, but it’s really no way to live. It’s just plain miserable. There is no goodness outside of God. If you convince yourself that there is, you’ve just allowed the devil to deceive you. In fact, the Bible says,“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good”(Psalm 14:1).
If you’ve chosen to recognize God as your Maker, you’re a wise person. Why not walk in more wisdom and stop “x-ing” God out of certain parts of your life? Why not talk to Him when you’re struggling instead of keeping the thoughts to yourself? After all, He can help you out.

Sometimes when there's an obstacle in your way, it’s there because you were doing what you wanted to do instead of what God wanted you to do. If you’re going to make a difference in the world around you, you’ve got to do things you don’t want to do. Honestly, most of the things God will tell you to do, you won't want to do. Do it anyway.

As Jesus said so as they prosecuted Me so will do likewise to my followers.

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." (John 15:11-13)
