Lots of great folks from Digital First Media are up for grabs (like +Beth Davidz!) -- any company would be fortunate to have her on their team.

From Twitter: RT @jimbradysp Seriously, if anyone out there is looking for talented digital folks across the skills spectrum, please let me know. jim.brady@gmail.com

United Center is blocks away from the L, but otherwise next to nothing. Give yourself plenty of time to get there. A great place to see a basketball game - there are plenty of (fairly) clean stalls in the restrooms, and each concession stand offers a variety of stadium foods - from a pulled pork sandwich, to cheesy fries to your standard nachos and hot dogs.

The Bongo Room never disappoints. The white chocolate, caramel and crushed pretzel pancakes are amazing. Even if dessert for breakfast isn't your thing, you'll leave stuffed and satisfied no matter what you order. Right near Millenium Park, it's fairly convenient. But make sure to give yourself plenty of time - the tiny quarters make for long waits (it's totally worth it.)

Centrally located and friendly staff, this is a great place to stay in the center of it all. Be sure to request a corner room, otherwise you may get stuck with a view of the pool (seeing a half-naked man wave to you when you open the drapes is less than ideal.) There's a Starbucks in the main entryway, and the restaurant downstairs also offers room service. Overall, highly recommend.

Strange Cargo, located just down the street from Wrigley Field, always offers the best of the strange and weird. Punky Brewster pinball? Growing Pains baseball cards? They've got 'em. Be sure to check out the store near the holidays - the inventory switches over to all St. Patrick's Day to help you celebrate. It's always on my short list of stops when I'm in town.
