Right, that's it, one more day of work, then I'm off to Santa Pod Raceway for four days of nitromethane, noise and beer with my buddies. Here's a slow one from last year with +Tony Rickwood:

This is amazing. Colour makes such a difference!
London in 1927, in colour!
The opening shots of this incredible scene were eerily familiar to me. The building on the extreme left is on Tower Bridge Road in Bermondsey where, 50 years after this film was shot in 1977 I opened my first bank account.
An amazing record of the city 86 years ago. Check the hats, so many hats.

Whilst I occasionally moan about school holidays (particularly inset days), this article really touched me and put my family life in perspective.

I also like 27-Feb-2013 for disambiguation, but that format is limited to English-speakers. Oh, and it's alpha-numeric.

I love stuff like this:

Pink or . . . Green !

If you follow the movement of the rotating pink dot with your eyes, the dots will remain only one color, pink. However, if you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot will turn green.Keep concentrating on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear and you will only see a single green dot moving in a circle.

I told the elderly lady whose husband was attempting to park in the left-hand space that there's a place on the internet where I can name and shame people like this. She was most grateful. I decided not to tell her it was called YouParkLikeA**.com
