#TuesdayTip brought to you by iPage
Hands-down one of the biggest mistakes a small business owner can make is underestimating the value and importance of a logo that is strategically and creatively designed by a professional (yes a paid, professional designer).

We know the cost is high and the process takes time -- neither of which many business owners feel they can afford when they're just starting out. But trust us on this one. Only an expert can create the logo and branding that your company will ultimately need if it's going to grow into a great success.

Your logo will be your company's first impression, the cornerstone of its brand, and the lasting image everyone will remember. So invest in your company logo and it will last a lifetime.

Blogging for Businesshttp://gplus.ly/1IgqZAL

If you are selling a product or service, #blogging can be a determining factor in generating new business through your website – sales for your products, or leads for your services that result in new contracts. Sounds great, right? The big question is... how can you make it work for your business?

This article by Jessica Ann breaks it down into 4 easy steps:

1) Decide On The Goal
What do you want to achieve with your blog? This is an important first question to ask if you want it to bring in business. When you have decided what precisely you want the blog to achieve you can move onto the next stage.

2) Understand the Audience
When you know exactly who your audience is, you can tailor your content for them.

3) Create Great Content
Next you have to create amazing content. Finding content is the easy part of the Internet. But finding something that you actually want to read? That’s the challenge. If you entertain and educate your customers with amazing content, you can win more traffic and sales.

4) Market Your Blog
Next you have to market your blog as there is no point going through all the steps above if nobody can see it. Firstly make sure it is well structured for SEO then publicize it on social media, through your email list, and through your other business contacts.

Blogging brings in business by selling (without selling). This is the ultimate goal.

Take an honest objective look at your efforts. Are they producing the results you expected? Did you MISS any of the steps above? Perhaps your goal wasn't clearly defined? Maybe you don't really understand your audience? Ask yourself: Could your content could be better? Finally, have you taken the time to market your blog?

It is never too late to make a change. Identify any problems and ... fix them!

Happy Blogging!
How Blogging Brings in Business. Written by Jessica Ann on June 13th, 2015. bloggingbusiness_50. The SEO arguments in favor of blogging are well rehearsed, but there is more to blogging than Google. Blogging can also bring you more business. That doesn't mean sales through advertising or revenue ...

The End of Adobe Flash Player … Are You Ready?

The demise of Flash has been a long time coming. Although online games and some animated ads still run on Flash, the majority of the big companies today (such as YouTube) no longer use Flash. For any business owner, blogger, or website manager, this is really important information to stay ahead of. Because while Flash play may be on its way out, video marketing has never been more important.

So what happens if Adobe kills Flash Player? This depends on whether you have features on your website that use Flash Player. If you do, the features will stop working. But if you have a recently built website, this is unlikely. Another area that might affect you is if you use Flash-based ads to promote your business – you will need to get these redone.

That's not all. For more information about the decline of Adobe Flash, check out our latest blog post here: http://ipage.com/blog/the-end-of-adobe-flash-player-are-you-ready/
