BREAKING: Just hours ago, four minor girls were RESCUED from exploitation in a private home in an operation led by anti-trafficking police and IJM in South Asia.
Police then helped rescue another two girls involved in this larger sex trafficking racket. Four accused have been arrested. Thanks to IJM supporters, these girls will soon move to a safe aftercare home as the legal process against their traffickers begins.

One of the most devastating forms of slavery IJM has ever encountered. It’s real. It hurts thousands of children. And all it takes is wifi.

Nine boys and girls—2 to 10 years old—were rescued from cybersex trafficking in back-to-back operations this week in the Philippines.

The FBI first uncovered images of these Filipino children when reviewing digital evidence linked to cases of online sexual exploitation against Americans.

IJM staff were on the ground to support authorities and ensure the victims were well-cared for as they settled into a safe location where they could sleep, play, and enjoy warm meals.
IJM lawyers in Manila will help build strong cases against the suspects. Cybersex trafficking will continue to spread like a plague until laws are routinely enforced.

Please pray for the young survivors and the IJM team in Manila as they provide around-the-clock care. Freedom has begun!

#BREAKING: Last weekend, our team in India traveled 12 hours with anti-trafficking police to rescue one young woman from sex trafficking. This survivor had been sold for sex in different cities for the past three months. But today she’s finally free! Police arrested four suspects involved in her exploitation.

Thank you for helping our teams respond to urgent calls for help!

Here at IJM, we’ve seen a lot of darkness. Our newest fight is one of the darkest. Girls and boys are abused over the internet. Customers in Western countries pay to watch them be abused.

This crime is called cybersex trafficking.

Cassie is one of its survivors. For nearly five years in the Philippines, she was repeatedly abused for an online audience. Then she was rescued by IJM and local authorities.

This is her story.
