Simple and Heavy Workbench
I needed a workbench since moving into a house that actually has the space, so I built one. I wanted something like the workbenches that were in my father's shop; handmade, sturdy, and able to endure for years (his are easily four decades old and holding strong). With my minimal carpentry skills and stubbornness, I managed to put this bench together in a day.The materials I used were: • (2) PT 4x4s (reclaimed from old deck I rebuilt) • (4) PT 2x1...

359 Degree Servo Modification
There is a lack of RC servos that have greater than 90 degree servo angle while still having position control. A few servos go 180 degrees, but nothing greater. A servo with a greater range of movement could be used as a Halloween prop with a head that rotates 359 degrees. Other uses might include a realistic model tank turret drive, or a full range analog panel meter. Additionally, the life of a typical servo is reduced due to the mechanical ana...

Quick, Dirty and Cheap Laser Engraver
After playing a while with the "pocket laser engraver" I've fabricated folowing the instructable made by Groover, I want to make something bigger with things I already have in my possession. The only thing I've bought is a scanner (7 Euro's at the second hand stuff shop). All the other things I have already in the house. This instructable is'nt an 1,2,3 step build plan because of the differences of things one has on theire shelf. It's merely a gu...
