UPDATE: We will be open on Halloween (tonight) from 7 to 10pm. However, due to the weather, the outdoor attractions will be closed. All 3 indoor attractions will STILL be open (Brickmore Asylum, Bedlam 3D and Nachtmahr).

Customers can either go through the indoor attractions twice, or can come back on Friday or Saturday and go through the outdoor attractions (using the same ticket).

As scheduled, we will also be open on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 1 & 2) from 7pm to midnight.

Bad actors, bad prices. Was rushed through the haunts. Actors late on their pop gags. Had to pay $5 for parking, $30 for ticket. Food and drinks not worth the prices cheapest item was bottle water at $2.75. No running water to wash off. Muddy when it rains, no rainchecks! Dont know what else to say. Don't want to waste my time with a review. And never have I seen Indy Scream park ranked as number #1 in Indiana or even the united states. And seeing the other reviewers us comical due to the fact Jon pianki is the right hand and public relations for the park. And Judy Nagengast is related to the family who owns it. And half of everyone with the reviews is associates by the sixth degree.

Booked online and visited the Indy Scream Park along with my wife. I got a great deal in the pricing too and the place was worth every penny. From creepy creatures to sudden bursts of electricity, this place has everything that it takes to have a perfectly horrific experience! My wife screamed so much that she was not able to speak up properly. Great food and beer too, if you plan to take a break between the horrors they have to showcase. A great place and is bound to scare you no matter how fearless you are!

worst experience ever. not worth a penny if u ask me. nothing about it was "frightening". a lil kid under the age of 8 MIGHT get scared. hannah haunted acres is way better and even they aren't that scary. don't waste your time or money on this place.

I had so much fun here! My group and I had a blast going from haunt to haunt and screaming until our voices began to fail. Some things to note about this awesome place: • Not just one haunt, but multiple arenas to visit all with one pretty cheap admission • You are offered the chance to paintball zombies! • The effects are stellar and the meticulous details and props were so awesome • VISIT BEDLAM! If you go to just one haunt, Bedlam will make you a fan here for life • The lines, compared to places like Six flags or Disney are cake by comparison • Even during downtime in the midway there are still creepy things everywhere to enjoy • They are very accommodating to groups and work to make sure you have a great time Those are just some of the things that we loved at Indy Screampark. We are definitely planning to go back even though it was a four hour drive. Once we made the trip though, the fun we had here ensured we had to return again with more people. If you like being scared and having crazy fun with friends and family, you can’t really do better on the Halloween holiday than this park. I just don’t see how anyone couldn’t be beside themselves with joy because of all the fun things to do here. We can’t wait to go back again!

Five attractions plus the Midway, which had lots of food, games, and character actors walking around. The 3D experience was one of the best effects. The haunted backwoods kept me on edge... everyone in our group jumped a few times! Theateric effects were great in each haunt and it was definitely worth the drive there.

I have family in Ohio and this place lands almost half way between the two — I've been to Anderson a number of times and it was almost never for something as sweet as this (ahem, no offense Anderson University). Anyways, I get why people are all ticked off about some of this stuff. You want top-class and you pay the cash and there are surprises at the door. Read the reviews and the FAQ online, get the fact that there is a charge for parking, and then decide whether or not you want to check it out (if you can find the VIP Pass on their site, you can find the spot it says parking isn't free). Myself? It was well worth it. My wife is huge into this stuff (though she laughs it off, so I don't think we'd be good judges of how scary it was. If you're in the area, support this awesome scream-fest. It's legit.

SHORT REVIEW: Great haunted house! It strikes a good balance between terrifying horror and a fun atmosphere for friends. The haunted houses are really well done and the detail is very good. If you are looking for the most horrific haunted house in Indy, you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want a fun time and some really solid scares, this place is the best. Indy Scream Park is a solid haunted house experience for Indianapolis. It strikes a happy-medium between the raw terror of Necropolis and the festival atmosphere of other Halloween events. When you first walk in, you are greeted by the distant sound of screams, gunshots, and chainsaws. There is some sort of flame tower in the distance, some in my group began panicking immediately. After redeeming our online tickets (saves $$$), you enter the midway, which is great! For my girlfriend, who was beyond terrified, it was a great place to chill and lighten up. In addition to food and drinks, they have a few really nice fire pits which gave a nice bonfire feel and had top 40 music playing on the speakers. They have a few classic horror characters walking around doing a nice mix of scaring and making jokes. For instance, Jason and Michael Myers had rubber chickens and Freddy was fond of dancing to the music. The haunted houses themselves were REALLY well put together. I could go on for hours so I'll stick to short reviews. The only Haunted House I did not get to go through was Nachtmare because we got there late and the indoor haunts were closing soon. Keep in mind, I am a huge horror fan who is somewhat hard to scare, so assume it is scarier if you are easy to scare. For perspective, there were plenty of people sitting out of Haunts because they were too scared to go in. Brickmore Asylum: Really well detailed, felt a lot like an actual asylum and all the props were completely right for it. A few solid scares, but mostly a lot of atmosphere and unpleasant people screaming at you. There is a VERY impressive set piece at the end, but it is not all that scary, just impressive. It is fairly well lit, which hurt it in my opinion, but that helped bring out the insane detail they have in there. Bedlam 3D: The second half is a lot scarier than the first. The first half has a few animatronics and the trademark 3D paint, just a lot of buildup. Then the clowns come. Lots, LOTS, of clowns. There are enough props, situations, hiding places that WILL get you at least once. It is certainly a sensory experience, both visually and physically (no they won't touch you, but there are other tricks they have). Infected: In my opinion, this the the best of them all. My childhood fear of creepy cornfields did not help. Most of the haunt is made up of a surprisingly claustrophobic corn maze-ish layout. It is broken up by military tents with infected civilians and soldiers and scenes of grizzly death (dead bodies in various states of decomp and death). You can see what looks like a large house in the middle of the cornfield. Yes you do go in there and it is great. Claustrophobic in a way that I felt every other haunt was lacking. Again, the detail here is awesome. A final note, Infected told a story the best. All of the haunted houses have a large amount of story given on their website, but none of them got that across in the haunt, except for Infected. This is the best one for scares, atmosphere and detail. A+ Backwoods: This is the longest haunt and the second scariest. The haunt is not as detailed, mainly because most of it is outdoors. There are a few intentional laughs, which all hit really well, that compliment the very good surprise scares and grizzly set pieces. I was on edge at almost every part of it, thanks to hit and run tactics of some of the actors in the woods. It is a solid final haunt at Indy Scream Park.

This was my first time through all the haunts at Indy Scream Park and I have to say this is one of the better haunts I've ever been to and definitely the best in Indiana. Brickmore Asylum is really cool. I've been to Pennhurst Asylum in Philadelphia and Brickmore gets the asylum feel right! The look of the actual built haunt is incredible. You can tell they definitely put a lot of work into this one. Oh and the tesla coil is really really cool! Bedlam 3D is cool looking but not my favorite. I'm blind in one eye so the 3D part doesn't really work for me haha Nachtmahr was my favorite indoor haunt here. The long dark hallways and surprise scares and weird nightmarish rooms really made this one a lot of fun. Infected is basically a long corn maze with an infected military theme. The military tents were really detailed with dead bodies everywhere plus a HUGE flame cannon! Backwoods is by far my absolute favorite! I went through completely by myself (it was opening night and lines were not long). You walk through a completely dark path through the woods. You never know where someone or something will jump out from but you know it will happen. The Midway is the carnival themed attraction that all the haunts are wrapped around. Here you can play games, eat carnival food and drink. All this while roaming monsters sneak up and scare you. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. It is a full night experience. Even if you don't scare easily it is definite worth the trip and price of admission.
