The Foundation is pleased to support The Australian National UniversityFenner School's 5-year project which aims to improve environmental, economic and social outcomes in rural Australia by helping farmers better manage their farms as natural assets.
The Australian National University (ANU) has received a $2 million grant from The Ian Potter Foundation to find ways to improve environmental management of farmlands. Leading ecologist at ANU Professor David Lindenmayer AO, from the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society, was instrumental in ANU winning the Environment and Conservation grant from The Ian Potter Foundation, which funds research into excellence and innovation.

The Ian Potter Foundation is delighted to support this iconic building within the VCA at the University of Melbourne's Southbank Arts Campus.
This comes as the Foundation announces a donation of $4M to support the building of a new home for MCM students and staff on the University’s Southbank campus. The gift joins a series of donations from the Foundation totalling $14 million towards the revitalisation of the University’s Southbank campus, including their support for the current redevelopment of the former Police Stables in Dodds Street.

Congratulations to Women's Property Initiatives and Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation for trialing this important project to address homelessness.
Social housing provider Women’s Property Initiatives has launched a pilot program to support older, low-income women secure long-term housing, with the help of a $300,000 innovation grant.

Announced yesterday in Hobart, the new Creative Industries & Performing Arts Centre at University of Tasmania will comprise state of the art venues that will not only provide educational and public performance opportunities, but will also facilitate cross-disciplinary creativity and thinking. The Foundation has granted $2m with a further $3m contingent on matched fundraising by the University.
