Do you feel someone staring at you?

Keys visitor Diana Robinson sure did! She captured this beautiful image of the Key West Butterfly Conservatory flamingo-in-residence. Check the image out in more detail at http://bit.ly/1UpZQAD

In what other destination can you walk from the airport and go directly to the beach?

#KeyWest's own Smathers Beach is right across the street from EYW, so you might as well stop off and breathe in the sea.

This hotel is great!! It is right on the water and the views are incredible. It is close to the action but on the water and far enough away for some peace. We were on the fence about staying here. My husband must have called the hotel four or five times. The great customer service by Janina tipped the scales. It was well worth it. I have to say the room is delightful and the customer service here is impeccable. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Key West.

Great new hotel with an excellent location near the water north of Duval Street. Attractive architecture and really nice rooms, most with partial view of the water. My wife and I visited in early January 2016 and had to suffer through loud construction noise throughout the day as they were building a new poolside bar. They apologized by offering us each a free drink. How insulting!! They should have offered us a deep discount.

Best experience staying here on New Year's Eve. Room was very clean and the proximity to all the action was unbeatable. We also did the Floridays snorkel trip which was equally as good!

The location is good, but the room we had was boring. Felt like every other Hyatt, we could have been anywhere. Management would not allow late checkout. Construction noise went on for a couple of days. Not enough chairs at the pool for the number of rooms. And worst, there was a child in diapers in the pool with her parents. When the child dirtied her diaper, the parents got her out, changed her, and put her back in. I stayed out of the pool. Did not want to swim with kid poop. The management had a "meet the staff" by the pool. I brought up my issues. The first guy said "I work in accounting, I can't help with that". The other guy said he was from maintenance and there was no construction noise at the hotel. When I pressed him with dates and times, he said "oh yeah, we were replacing the tile at the hotel those days". No help, no apology, no late checkout.

Hi Garry. I'm sorry to hear about the problems you encountered during your stay. We take great pride in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. I'm sorry you did not feel the team at the meet up addressed your concerns. While occasional work must be done on the property to keep it in good shape, I'm sorry that the noise interfered with your enjoyment of your stay. Thank you for the feedback regarding the pool. We are very welcoming of families with young children, and while accidents happen, I'm sorry that it affected your visit. I understand your concern about late checkout. Unfortunately this is not always possible due to availability, and the team needing to turn the room around in time for the next guests. We make every effort to accommodate these requests when we can, but unfortunately it is not always possible. Thank you for taking the time to share these concerns. I'm sorry we were not able to remedy these issues during your stay, but it is important for us to know where we can improve for future visits. Best wishes in your future travels, and thank you again for giving us the opportunity to address these concerns. - Karrie

My husband and I stayed here for our ten year anniversary over The Thanksgiving Holiday 2015. I have to say from the check-in to the check-out it was wonderful! We were upgraded to a room which had the full view of the Gulf and two balconies. The service was great! They brought up champagne and finger foods for our anniversary and amenities as a welcome. Towel refresh and turn down services nightly and the on site restaurant "Shore" serves the most amazing food!!! I can't wait to go back. If I had one thing to say the TV reception in the room wasn't so great, but it's Key West so you won't be inside much anyway! Great Stay!!!

As always the top quality of hotels. It's not super high class, but enough to make my vacation a dream! Centrally located to the wharfs and since amazing food spots, this is an amazing hotel a must experience that had amazing views!

Recently spent another wonderful vacation at the Hyatt Key West. My family and I have stayed there at least 10 times. Location is perfect for access to activities in old town. Views and water sports are fantastic. Most of all, the staff is terrific. They are friendly, helpful, and stable. In fact, we are on a first name basis with some of the wait staff in the restaurant. We live in California but will continue to visit the Hyatt Key West at least annually.

Older feeling property. Pool bar is terrible. Can't even make a fresh daiquiri have to use pre made sour mix... Why must eveyone cut corners for better profit margins... Bartenders had never even heard of a Hemingway daiquiri despite it being the most famous drink of the most famous person ever on this island...
