nomination tugs at the heart strings. Congrats Terri of +Zorba's Greek Restaurant
"I met Terri when she was our server at a local Greek restaurant. She has always provided our family with the best service and you never see her without a smile. I've since worked with her and can say, as a co-worker, that she is the hardest worker. She goes out of her way to make special orders for our older customers, makes sure to cut up the food for a customer we have that is paralyzed... the list just goes on. Her heart is as big as her smile!
Terri is a single mother with a daughter in her late 20's. She has pretty much raised her first 2 grandchildren with her daughter and her daughter recently gave birth (very prematurely) to Baby Lorenzo. After weeks in the NICU he has come home! He's a tiny thing, under 5 pounds and is on heart and oxygen monitors. Terri works 5 double shifts between the two locations and is looking at picking up lunch shifts to help with the expenses from the baby and grands so her daughter can stay home with the baby until his health is more secure. She has had a tough year with the death of her mother in NY and the worry over her grandkids. I'd love to see her recognized for her hard work at the restaurant and at home... she is inspiring!"
