Visit our brand new interactive site dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, 4 October 1936, which has been called the greatest ever anti-fascist victor on British soil.

#CableStreet80 #antifascism #NoPasaran
On 4 October 1936 the people of the East End halted the march of Oswald Mosley’s Blackshirts through Stepney . The Battle of Cable Street, as the events have come to be known, is symbolic of community rejection of racism and fascism.
