For the 'Oscars' to add more diversity is huge for the academy. I just wish it had those intentions before the controversy this years academy awards 2016. So since this is the beginning of a new direction into more diversity. Showing what and what decisions that are made for the future concerns it still has a long way to go. But it is a start of something of recent. The problem will be the attitudes of the academy. If the higher up's still are in control of the decisions ,then were back to square one. There needs to be change of diversity all around including the highest position. But I do understand that this a huge step into how things are going to be. What I fear is that no one wants a show actions speak louder. And that moment will be up to those who want the change. Or go through the same stuff that has others for years questioning some of the decisions that have been made in the past. This is very important but I'll wait for the results before that big step does make the difference.
