I have had bought appliances with hhgreg before and never had any issues until yesterday, I had the worst experience at the Bloomingdale, IL location. To start off we visited the store on Saturday, and was given a really good price on kitchen appliances and a pair of washer and dryer. But since hhgregg and the associate were kind enough to do a price match the associate I worked with checked with sears online but the price was not reflecting what I saw in store. They were kind enough to call Sears but it was too late and it was closed. The associate that I worked with told us that he will give me the same price once we confirm with sears on the price of the refrigerator. I come again and the person I worked with had a day off. And their was some other sales person helping me. I told him that I have been here before and there should be a quote on the desk I just have to pay once the price is verified with sears. The sales person found the quote and gave it to the manager, but the manager was extremely rude, he took the quote and stepped away on the phone for 10 mins. He came back handed the piece of paper and turned around and started staring at the computer. We were literally standing there for 5 mins and he won't speak a word. I had to call him and all he said is the price on the paper is the best I can do. And when I asked about the quote he would not reply back to me, he was just ignoring me and kept on looking at the computer. He would not even explain me why he changed the price. I waited by the counter another 5 mins and he would just not talk to me, he just kept on staring at the computer and won't even turn around. I felt he was just looking down on me and would not care even if I bought the appliance. I asked him can you please explain the change in price, and all he said was this is what it is, and turn around. If this is the attitude of the branch manager for their customer, I would never step in hhrgeh again.
