Autumn has been spectacular this year at our Studios & Gardens. We've had brilliant sunshine side by side with atmospheric mists.

It's the last week of our exhibition "Body and Void: Echoes of Moore in Contemporary Art" but things won't be calm and quiet once the visitors have departed as we have exciting plans in store for 2015. Follow the link to our site to find out about our development project to improve our Archive and Visitor facilities
The Henry Moore Foundation is an arts charity established by the artist in 1977 to promote sculpture in general and Henry Moore's work in particular. The Foundation's large collection of work is exhibited in Perry Green and around the world and an extensive grants programme supports the work of living artists and contemporary art practice.

We're joining in with The Big Draw 2014. Moore loved drawing and filled sketchbooks with work throughout his life, come along to Perry Green on Sat 18 October to try your hand at one of his favourite techniques.

Happy Easter everyone. We would normally be open but, due getting our new buildings completed, we're not opening until 1 July 2016. Looking forward to greeting visitors then.

Here are some Perry Green Lambs in the meantime.

Sorry folks. We're now closed for the winter.
Ignore the Google Maps / Google opening hours. It's proving very hard to link this page with the Google Maps listing, it really really wants to create a new Google+ page for us.

Henry Moore is best known as a sculptor but he was also an accomplished textile artist. He designed many fabrics and also the tapestries that normally hang in our Aisled Barn. Come along in May Half Term and make your own felt artwork using Moore's designs and the sculptures in our grounds to inspire you. Please note that this workshop will take place in a marquee in our gardens.

Introduction
The Henry Moore Foundation was established by Moore in 1977, and is now one of the UK's leading arts charities. Visit his house & sculpture grounds at Perry Green, Herts, the best place worldwide to see his work.

The Foundation was established to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts, and in particular the works of Henry Moore. Its main responsibilities are preserving Moore's legacy at his home in Hertfordshire and through exhibitions worldwide; funding exhibitions and research at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds; and awarding grants to arts organisations in the UK and abroad.
