A message from Pter Huang:

I am invited by CJAL (Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics, international edition published by de Gruyter Mouton, ESCI of Web of Science since 2015) to edit a special column for the journal on a theme related to our field – Teacher Identity and Teacher Autonomy in Foreign Language Education. The column will publish 2-3 research articles respectively in CJAL’s last issue of 2017 (Oct. 2017) and first issue of 2018 (Jan. 2018).

Submission deadlines:

(1) 30 April 2017, for consideration of publication in Oct. 2017

(2) 31 July 2017, for consideration of publication in Jan. 2018

In order to speed up the peer review process, please submit your manuscript to my email address: peterjh@hkbu.edu.hk

To give you a better idea of the journal, in this email and the following, I attach documents about the journal (including submission guidelines), some sample articles, and CJAL’s 2013 special issue (“Autonomy in Foreign and Second Language Education”) for the 16th World Congress of Applied Linguistics (held in August 2011, Beijing, China), edited by Professor Phil Benson and me.

Your submission is most welcome. Thank you very much for your support!
