Craig Imler at Hatfield Hyundai is the BEST! Last year I needed to trade in my two SUVs for a car. It was not under the best of circumstances for me. Craig and I spoke on the phone when I called to find out if what I wanted to do was possible. He answered all my questions and set up a time convenient for me to come out with the vehicles. He made the transaction simple, fast, and more importantly with compassion for my situation. This year, my 2014 Elantra was rear ended and totaled out. Again this was not under the best of circumstances. While handling the claim with the insurance company I called Craig to get pricing on a 2015 model. When I was ready to make the purchase Craig was willing to arrange his hours to fit my schedule. When I went to get the car Craig greeted me like a long lost friend, and truly remembered me from the prior transaction. He had everything ready and I was in and out of there within a matter of minutes with my 2015. I strongly recommend this dealership and especially recommend dealing with Craig Imler...

We bought a 2013 Elantra, brand new in the summer of 2012. We love the car and the sales service was good. However our experience with the service department has been lacking. I have brought the car back to this dealer for all scheduled maintenance and it's always like getting your teeth pulled. First a minor complaint: their labor costs are high, but whatever, it's the dealer and I can forgive that because I know the mechanics do a lot of training to be brand certified. My bigger complaint is that every time I asked them to look at problems covered by the warranty I never hear back from them. First, there was some stitching coming undone on the seats, no big deal, the car was still on bumper to bumper warranty and I needed an oil change. So I took it in, pointed out the flaw, and they said "no problem, we will take a photo send it to Hyundai, and when they ok it out upholstery guy will fix it". They said it would be a few days to hear back, but they never contacted me again about it. I never followed up about it mainly because it was just something I was hoping to get fixed fast, not worth fighting over to get done. But a few months ago I went in for oil change, wheel alignment, and tire rotation. I also asked them to look at another upholstery problem with the leather on the steering wheel. The service advisor came back two hours later to tell me that all the work was done, and that the upholstery work was submitted for a warranty claim. so far no complaints. However I later noticed that one tire was still in the same place, they obviously didn't rotate the tires which they charged me for anyway!. By the time I noticed I had already drove away and gone to a car wash. I immediately drove back and pointed it out to the service advisor and showed her the receipt. She went to speak to the service tech who admitted to me that he changed the oil while the wheel alignment was being done and he forgot to rotate the tires. They at least offered me a free oil change and rotated the tires after the fact. They said I should expect to hear soon about the steering wheel upholstery. It's been two months and I never heard back from them about that steering wheel. I tried to call but was told the person assigned to my file was off the day I called and that they would have all the details. All I wanted was an update! But they claimed they didn't know anything about it unless the original service advisor was there. That's just a little ridiculous to me since all their files are electronic and they use iPads for all their paperwork! Finally, their service guys always say that my next oil change is due in 5000 miles, when the owners manual says 7500. that's not a huge thing but it just feels sleazy to me. Long story short: good place to buy, but if you bring your car here for service be vigilant that they do the work and that they follow up on warranty stuff. What good is it to have Hyundai's "America's best warranty " if you can't get the dealer to do anything for you!

Trent, Please contact Brian Trout at 614-465-4524 as he wants to speak to you directly about this issue. In the owner’s manual it states two intervals, one that is 3,750 for severe weather and one that shows 7,500 miles. We do not always have severe conditions but we also rarely have perfect conditions. The conditions are not only environmental but also the amount you drive, short trips and several other factors that constitute severe driving. We put the recommendation more in the middle at 5,000 miles, and it is easy to remember every 5,000 miles for a service. We appreciate your comments and would like you to give us the opportunity to see how we may be able to assist with the trim issues.

First off I don't know much about cars and this is more of an impression they made on me. I took my Subaru Impreza in to find out what was wrong with it. There were a bunch of noises and I assumed an alignment was needed. Turns out Hatfield wanted $890.00 because my power steering pump was broken and I needed new fluid. I figured I would call around to other shops to see what price they offered before I had Hatfield's fix my car. Needless to say I found a reputable car repair shop that wanted less money to do the same thing. I took it in and I was told that my power steering pump was completely fine. It was my rod and pin that were a problem. So not only were they charging me out the ass for something (I know the parts are not cheap) but it shows that they don't know what they are doing and probably would have done much more damage to my car in the long run. Do not take your car here to get fixed!

EASILY the best car buying experience that I have ever been apart of. I worked with Juan Turiaga and he made the car buying experience effortless and painless. I never know car buying could go so smoothly! He offered me a fair price for my trade-in and I got a great price on the car I purchased. I never want to work with anyone else again! I will be referring all my friends and family to Hatfield, specifically to Juan. You should do the same, you won't be disappointed!

We had a great experience at Hatfield Hyundai. My wife and I had been looking for some time for a new vehicle. The only bad part is where we live there are no big volume car dealers and no one is willing to deal to save you any money. So I knew I would have to travel 2 or 3 hours to get a good deal. I started looking at dealerships on the internet and made a few calls. When I called Hatfield I spoke to Garrett Robinson in new cars sales. Right from the start I knew something was different. It wasn't the typical hype you get when you call a dealership. He was polite and understanding. He took the time to listen to my situation and was willing to try and help us out. I was extremely surprised when he called back with a more than reasonable offer for the exact vehicle we wanted. So my wife and I made the trip up to Columbus. When we arrived Garrett had everything ready to go. He went over the vehicle’s info and took time to answer all of our questions. This by far was the best experience we have had buying a new vehicle. I would definitely recommend Hatfield Hyundai if you want a good deal. I know we got one. Thanks for saving us some money!

Hatfield Hyundai is everything that they claim not to be. Pushy, aggressive, rude and down right unwilling to work with customers. I made a lot of phone calls to Hatfield before making the 60 minute drive to the lot a week or so ago. They made me feel comfortable about purchasing a car. We all know how pushy car sales people can be and they didn't seem that way. However, upon making the trip there I got a completely different vibe. This car lot is it strictly for the money. I was no longer a human customer, I was a bank account with money. When I called Hatfield I was told that all the cars on the lot had a mark-up of around 800-1,000 however, when I arrived this all changed. Kathy (the lady I worked with) was down right pushy. The promised lower price turned in to her saying that the car had already been marked down. I may be young, but I'm not stupid. She tried all tactics in the book to convince me to sign my name on a loan that was ridiculous compared to what it should have been. At one point she told me " I'm letting you test drive the car, if you're not back in 20 minutes, I assume you drove home to get your trade-in" If that isn't pushy I don't know what is. To make matters even worse, they told me they would run my credit once, turns out they ran a "hard check" 3 different times without my approval. 2 days after visiting the lot I got a call from their customer service department for a satisfaction survey. I expressed my concern with the gentleman who, after I was finished said "Ok, thanks have a nice day" and hung up! I will never advise someone to go here. It's all about the money to them and they lie and cheat their way into making "deals" Stay away from this dealership!

Do not buy a used Hyundai because a lot of them have an air bag issue where the air bag light comes on several months after it is reset it (which more than likely will done before you buy the car then several months later it will come on again), then you will have to pay to have it fixed or reset. This is a major problems with many earlier models and Hyundai refuses to do a recall. This issue alone has cost owners millions of dollars and headache. Do your homework on later models because the dealers won't tell you! I bought a 2004 350xg model from this dealer, and the same exact thing happened to me. The air bag light is on now. They sell an air reset tool for Hyundai's online> Really! And still no recall! This is major safety issue! Otherwise the car is good, slightly over priced. Always deal for lower price on used cars, always! They are simply not worth the sticker price! Also save ads and pics and be sure you get what you pay for! I did and I manage to get all new tires from this dealer, which was quite easy but I do not think it would have happened without images and video i saved. As they actually asked me for a copy! Really! They had the ad, as this was only weeks later! Hmm, not sure what to say!

My husband and I came in on a Monday evening around 7:30 after an unpleasant experience at another Hyundai dealership. Rich Highly was fantastic as well as Trevor Wiley (and everyone else behind the scenes). They all stayed over late to make sure I got the car I wanted. It was a great experience and I wound highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. Thank you!
