Meet Jackson, our Handicapped Pet of the week!
“Jackson is my Rottweiler, and he will be 9 years old in July. In September, he was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. I can't even express to you how much the Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair has improved his quality of life. It took him a few weeks to get truly comfortable, but after that, it was life changing for him. He became happy again, going on his daily walks, sniffing around, and playing with his toys (he was too depressed to play with before his chair). He is totally paralyzed in his hind legs now, so every day he goes for walks around our neighborhood in Brooklyn and is the talk of the town! Thank you for such a great product. Sincerely, Briana”

“I’ll hide behind this dandelion so Mommy can’t find me!”
Little Bit may love to play hide and seek, but she is also quite the goodwill ambassador in Baltimore as well! She enjoys going to the harbor, where tourists love to take pictures with her. Her owner says that the most touching part about it all, is when parents bring their kids who are also in wheelchairs, on over to meet her.

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, believes that by cultivating compassion, we achieve happiness. How to cultivate compassion? Help others. This is the story of Tashi, a stray dog in India whose life serves to help open hearts and sow the seeds of compassion. Teachers Come in All Sizes Geshe Ngawang Thapkhe is …

Happy rebirth day to Sadowski!

"It was five years ago today a young Pit Bull came into our hospital after a driver struck her and drove off. She suffered nerve damage that left her paralyzed. Without her Walkin' Wheels she wouldn't have such a normal life! She knows what "wheels" means and gets excited putting them on. Sometimes giving me a "hurry up" growl if I take too long! She loves going on the trails and to the beach. They give her freedom and mobility! Although you may think of a wheelchair for older dogs she was barely one when we rescued her and has had the same durable set for FIVE years! Thank you Handicapped Pets! Happy rebirth day to our beautiful Sadowski!"

I recently bought the Heavy-Duty Support Harness for my 11 years old Picaso.... I Loved it.... and the most important He Loved it too. He was Diagnosed with severe arthritis and Diabetes, It was too hard for him to stand up. Thanks to this harness He can now go for long walks and it made it easier for me to lift him from the bed. I am grateful I found this site.... I Recommended 100%. And I will be getting some other stuff soon...for my female Labrador...Hershey. I love the customer service and the whole experience of buying they made it so easy....

I have a very badly arthritic dog that cannot walk any long distances. My husband ordered the walkin' wheels hoping it would assist her. My husband saw that they advertised a 14 day trial period and figured it was worth the try. The unit comes boxed in many parts and was incredibly difficult to put together. Unfortunately, she would not move in the wheelchair. When we finally were able to get her to move...she fell over in the uneven areas where we walk. If putting it together was difficult...reboxing it was just as bad. They did advertise a 14 day trial, but the fine print states they could charge up to a 35% restocking fee (which came out to be $139.00)
