Introduction
Mission

Gumstix’ mission is to be one of the key providers of small, open source computer-on-module product lines in the world. The focus of our activities is on innovation, stable growth, product excellence and quality of our relationship with our employees, customers and suppliers.

Company Overview

Gumstix, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the development of advanced computer-on-module products. Based in San Jose, California, USA, Gumstix designs, manufactures and distributes open-source products based on Texas Instruments and Marvell applications processors that are known for their tiny size, wide range of function and ease of use in product development.

A broad range of hardware, software and mechanical engineering skills has allowed Gumstix to bring many innovative and groundbreaking products to market successfully. This drive for innovation has led to several industry firsts that began with our launch of the world’s smallest, commercially available, Linux computers and boards with a worldwide community-based support network, in May of 2004.

Since being founded in October of 2003, the company’s approach to product pricing, quality control, and community-based support has attracted thousands of customers worldwide. Its organic growth through product sales has enabled the company to expand significantly without any outside investment. Gumstix currently boasts having customers located in more than 50 countries.
