The real estate market is VERY active. Properties are selling.
There are some homeowners that have been waiting for months to get a price they hoped for when they originally listed their house for sale. The only thing they might want to consider is... If it hasn't sold yet, maybe it's not priced properly.

We need to keep our eyes on the Myrtle Beach real estate market. We are having a better start to 2015 then we did in 2014. So far it appears the market in Myrtle Beach is strong. I am hearing a pull back in some other markets though.
The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) just released their Existing Home Sales report and some have taken the results and ran with headlines like: “Existing home sales collapse in January despite low mortgage rates”. Let’s take a closer look at what the report really shows.

Many property owners will be considering selling their property in Myrtle Beach in 2015. The Myrtle Beach real estate market has been very active and a lot of people think 2015 will be the time to get top value. Of course, you cannot predict what will happen with home sales in Myrtle Beach but the activity does remain strong.

People are building equity in their homes again. 
Last week, we reported on the financial reasons that the New York Times felt that homeownership was important. The Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University performs a study every year surveying participants for the reasons that American’s feel are most important in regards to homeownership.

Greg Harrelson has been selling Myrtle Beach Real Estate full time for over 17 years and has personally helped more than two thousand clients buy and sell real estate in the Myrtle Beach area.
 
Greg is the founder and owner of Century 21 The Harrelson Group which has consistently led the entire MLS for number of successful sales annually for the past few years as well as leading all Century 21 offices throughout the region. In addition to selling real estate, Greg has trained successful agents across the country on how to grow their own real estate careers while working for a National Real Estate Coaching firm based out of the West Coast. In 2012, he became CEO of Century 21 Barefoot Realty out of North Myrtle Beach. In 2013, Greg opened Century 21 Charleston Expert Advisors, serving real estate needs in Charleston, SC and surrounding cities of Summerville, Mt Pleasant, Goose Creek and the barrier islands.
 
Outside of business, Greg is married with 4 active children. Hobbies include tennis, golf and anything the children are involved at the time as well as being co-founder of a non profit organization named Feed A Family which executes a sucessful event during Christmas to feed those in need throughout the County.

Debbie Ferrari, A fellow Realtor in San Clemente CA, referred me an old client that was moving to Myrtle Beach. When I met these nice folks, all they could talk about was how much they loved Debbie Ferrari, how much she did for her community, and how well she had taken care of their family's needs through the years. I knew I had some big shoes to fill to keep up with her level of service. Even Donald Trump seems to know Debbie! She is truly a dedicated and professional real estate agent.
