Thanks to City Council member Amy Ryberg Doyle for traveling to Clinton, SC, today to accept a $300,000 check from the EPA! The grant award will be used to conduct environmental site assessments in the Reedy River Redevelopment Area on Greenville's west side.

The sluice gate on the Reedy River behind the Peace Center will be open today around 2 p.m., for 1.5 hours. This will lower the river's water level temporarily.

INCIDENT ALERT:
A three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Faris Road and Augusta Road has caused a major power outage, affecting more than 1,000 customers in the area. Please avoid this intersection and plan an alternate route. Power is expected to be offline for 4-5 hours.

While City of Greenville offices will be closed on Monday, February 19 for Presidents' Day, Monday trash and recycling pickups will still be made. There will be no change to the City's trash/recycling collection schedule next week.
