It’s #WorldTunaDay !

Tuna can travel thousands of kilometres in their lifetime, but they can’t outrun the fishing boats any more, unless we can give them ocean sanctuaries where they can have time to recover their numbers ☛ http://bit.ly/sosoceans

May the celebration of National Ocean Month be a reminder to every Filipino the need to take action to conserve and protect what's left of our marine resources to ensure that in years to come our children can still enjoy clean sea, teeming with life.
May is Month of the Ocean. It is a reminder that we, a people heavily reliant on the bounty of healthy seas for sustenance and income, should do our part in protecting them

With no rain since February 2015, the dry spell in M’lang, North Cotabato has already caused the drying of irrigation systems and created big cracks in the rice fields of New Antique. The dry spell is already causing extreme hardship for the farmers.

We call on the national and local governments to adopt and support policies and programs to help transition the country’s farming system towards a more climate-resilient ecological agriculture. ‪

Arctic drilling isn't just bad for the Arctic--it's bad for the planet.

That's why we're tracking their drill rig as it crosses the Pacific >> http://grnpc.org/IgeeP

This fragile Earth deserves a voice. It needs YOU.
Introduction
Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organisation that acts to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace by:

* Catalysing an energy revolution to address the number one threat facing our planet: climate change.

* Protecting the world’s ancient forests and the animals, plants and people that depend on them.

* Creating a toxic free future with safer alternatives to hazardous chemicals in today's products and manufacturing.

* Campaigning for sustainable agriculture by rejecting genetically engineered organisms, protecting biodiversity and encouraging socially responsible farming.
