Letter to Netflix.
Dear Netflix, I am sorry I ever brought you into my life. My daily routine has been disrupted and I am not sleeping because of the long hours I spend being entertained. I can be very excitable, and have a tendency to become a...

My article on "First Love,": was published today in Women's Voices For Change.
“A relationship of intense beauty and emotional anarchy was formed, waged by teenagers in the vortex of ‘romantic love,’ where infatuation, anger, and jealousy crack through the shell of invincibility and time is forever-after.”

My niece went to see the Affordable New York - Housing exhibit which regrettably ends tomorrow at Museum of The City of NY on 102nd Street. She went to see the display on PENN STATION SOUTH and CO-OP CITY - because it was her grandfather's and my father's legacy. Gerhard Graupe was the lead architect in the firm Herman Jessor. The apartments were sponsored by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union's United Housing Foundation. He also worked on Rochdale Village, Seward Park and Van Cortlandt Park South. Also article by Denise Brown and Roger Venturi on CO-OP City which they grudgingly came to accept.

A moving and amazing exhibition- photographs of landscapes that have the texture, light and resonance of masterful painting with figures that often feel like they were painted by Georges De La Tour or sculpted by Duane Hanson.dislocated from the environment, but still vital to the narrative. I leave Crewsdon's exhibitions with an aching sadness.

n the 2016 Presidential election we need to WIN - that is the bottom line. Let history be a lesson - another Socialist ran for President 5 times - Eugene V. Debs and was defeated. I agree that now we are in another era - but do all those who are idealists really believe that our country is going to elect a Socialist to the Presidency? The US is more conservative than ever and I emphatically say NO.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_V._Debs

George W. Bush's choices - Samuel Alito and John Roberts to the Supreme Court gave us the CITIZENS UNITED decision which brought the largest influx of MONEY into elections - The 1% have a better chance than ever to buy an election. On the other hand, President Obama chose two women - for the Supreme Court whose values reflect mine.

The next President might have an opportunity to choose at least 2 or maybe 3 nominees, which will affect our lives for years to come, More so than any other branch of government, the Supreme Court can undo years of Congressional legislation - just look at the attempts to eviscerate ACA and Roe vs. Wade year upon year - it is never-ending.
I personally consider myself a democratic socialist - when I was in my teens, I felt that there should be a "cap" on the amount of money my favorite band The Beatles were making, and strongly believed their enormous income should be given to programs to help those less fortunate. Anyone who knows me is aware that I am not a consumer and have deeply held convictions about equalizing wealth and opportunities.
