New Google+ update lets you restrict your content by age and location.

Restrict your content by age and location
As a content creator you may want to reach customers and fans of all ages, all over the world. Or you may want to engage more carefully, sharing only with age-appropriate audiences or audiences in certain countries. Google+ now enables both pages and profiles to restrict their content based on user age and location.

So for example: you can now decide that only users 18+ or 21+ should be able to see your posts. You can also specify ages on a country-by-country basis if you need something more custom.

To get started just visit your page or profile settings, scroll to ‘Audience,’ and choose your desired option. From then on your posts (old and new) will follow your restrictions.

Check out our Help Center if you’d like to learn more (http://goo.gl/1UTF7Q), and let us know what you think in the comments! We hope today’s update helps you reach your audience even more easily, and responsibly.

[Tip] Sending Feedback to Google

We've had quite a few posts in our G+ community recently regarding glitches, issues, or just general stuff that people wish was different. Don't forget that you can send feedback direct to Google that gets read by real people. Honest!

I found a workaround.  I select the Share option & choose to insert 'jpg' into email that I send myself.  From there it's a simple cut & paste into a destination folder.  Not perfect, but a solution.  Thanks for following up.

Anyone know if you can also make it so that the participants of the Hangout can be invisible? Or only visible to the host? +Sheila Lahar

Useful G+ tip from +Jaana Nyström

How to control the amount of posts from a community

Clicking on the gear icon:

- You can uncheck the "Show posts in Home stream" and you won't see anything from that community unless you visit it

- Choose the amount of posts you wish to see in your Home stream:
More, Standard or Fewer

- Here you can also leave a community

If you wish to get notifications from the community, click on the bell icon.

3 Hot G+ Help Questions

Google+ Help’s 3 Hottest Questions of the Week
Spam, Stories, Profiles!

Hey everyone! Time for the latest Google+ Help Weekly Round-Up where the top trending questions of the week are answered!

1) +Don Miller asked how he could block an advertiser.

Top Contributor +John Skeats responded with the following explanation:

There are no true advertisements on Google+. If you are talking about someone who is sending you unwanted commercial posts, I recommend reporting them for spamming first because that will help others who are also having the same problem. Click the "V" that appears in the upper right hand corner of the post when you move the cursor there and select Report spam or abuse. The post will be replaced by a rectangle, in the middle of which will be a link that you can use to block the poster.

See the full discussion here: http://goo.gl/LV52L8

2) +Bob Colomb asked how he could recreate a deleted story.

Top Contributor +John Elstone said that deleted stories cannot be recovered, but he could try reuploading the images and see if it triggers a new story.

See the full discussion here: http://goo.gl/w4pzfY

3) +Pablo Povarchik asked if he could have one G+ profile for 2 different Google Apps accounts.

Top Contributor +Peggy K responded:

No, that's not possible to have one Google+ Profile for two different Google accounts. You can choose one to be your primary Google+ identity and direct people who circle your secondary profile to your main profile.

See the full discussion here: http://goo.gl/h2tWqd

Tip of the Week

+Mary Ann Davis shared a great way to search Google+ posts using the Google Search to filter private content.

2) Business Names on Profiles

+Amanda Moore asked about changing a personal name to a business name using a Google+ Profile.
