SICK !!!
We’re kicking off Isolated Bass Week #5 with a song that peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Nirvana’s “In Bloom” featured some gritty bass by Krist Novoselic, locked right in with Dave Grohl’s drums. While the tune was originally recorded in 1990, this version appeared on the 1991 release Nevermind – the first...

WOW !
We’re continuing Isolated Bass Week 5 at No Treble with one of the greatest metal bassists of all time: Steve Harris. The British four-stringer’s distinctive style and punchy tone shine on this isolated bass version of Iron Maiden’s iconic “Run to the Hills.” Harris is credited with writing the song, which should help explain why...

Introduction
Welcome to my Google+ page.
I love to play bass, record bands, shoot live concert video etc. I'm currently located out of Vancouver BC and am playing bass with War Amp and +TheRekkening. Both bands are lunatic asylums to be part of !
I have a background in heavy/hard rock, punk, and metal and have been blessed to work with some of the loudest, heaviest and most outrageous bands I've ever met. I also love making the song the best possible as far as groove, melody and rhythm are concerned and have always had great production / arrangement skills. It always amazes me how much of a ferocious power music and songwriting can be. I'm also a recording engineer and have a indie music company called Fatality Music Canada

Thanks for taking a second reading about who I am !

Some past bands I've been in (short list)
Riots of June (R.I.P.)
Charlie Drown <-- OMG have a listen, so proud of her !
Gravel (R.I.P.)
N.D.E. (R.I.P.)
Ignition (R.I.P.)
Ginch (R.I.P.)
Lunchbucket (R.I.P.)

A great place for cheap breakfast. Lots of local bands and artists are seen there (usually pretty hungover....lol) Bons is usually a very busy place so sometimes it takes a little bit of extra time to get your food to you, but the wait is worth it.

Charts is a fantastic rehearsal spot, now in a new location (6930 MacPherson Ave. Burnaby B.C.). The rooms SOUND EXCELLENT and Art and Chad (owners) are top notch to deal with. Charts is the only place I will rehearse in the Vancouver area.
