We've added new starter templates to help you quickly build mobile ad units from a pre-set format. Over 80 ad templates are available, including 29 in-app templates, and all of them are certified to work on DoubleClick Bid Manager.
What about assets, you ask? You can now search and use your DoubleClick Studio assets in the GWD asset library. What about components? We think you'll love the new components: we've added an Image Button (yay!) as well as a calendar component. In addition, you can now create your own components and add them directly into GWD!

This week the redesigned Rich Media Gallery website was unveiled, Google’s destination for digital creative inspiration and education. The new design provides a seamless experience across screens, and makes it easy to find the right product and ad format you need to build your campaign. Today we're releasing an update with over 40 issues, including improvements to Components, Library, Groups, SVG and Text. We've added a search bar to the Google Fonts dialog, you can also now add fullscreen functionality when using the YouTube component, drag and drop entire folders with assets onto the stage and more! In December we added the ability to import and make basic edits to SVG images. You can fill properties of shapes (including color and transparency) and add stroke properties like color, weight, joins, dashes, etc! Give it a try today! In the next few weeks, Google Web Designer will be launching starter templates to help advertisers quickly build mobile ad units from a pre-set format. Over 80 ad templates will be available, including 29 in-app templates, and all of them will be certified to work on DoubleClick Bid Manager. We’ll be adding additional templates for responsive GDN Lightbox formats next quarter. Google Web Designer will also integrate with the Asset Library in DoubleClick Studio, meaning users can access the same library of assets from Google Web Designer and DoubleClick Studio.
You can now add, manage and edit your assets using the new local library feature in Google Web Designer! From there you can easily drag and drop assets or use the new Import Assets option in the File menu. Check it out!
