We've updated the Transparency Report (google.com/transparencyreport), which shows when and what information is accessible on Google services around the world. As of today, it includes information about copyright removal requests that we receive from copyright owners and the organizations that represent them to remove Google Search results because they allegedly link to infringing content. This new information adds to existing data on the government requests we receive (to remove content or for information about users) and traffic patterns to our services.

We believe that openness is crucial for the future of the Internet, and hope that providing this data sheds some light on what affects the free flow of information on the web.
