Manage your family’s Easter activities with the Google Search App. You can ask Google for the weekend forecast to make sure your neighborhood Easter egg hunt won’t be rained out; impress (and inspire) your kids with Image Search; and—since jelly beans aren’t typically on your grocery list—ask Google to remind you to pick some up when you’re at the supermarket.

Project Tango is getting ready to launch into space! Coming from Google's ATAP (Advanced Technology and Projects) group, Project Tango is an effort to create mobile devices that are aware of physical space the way humans are. Now it's helping NASA astronauts map the inside of the International Space Station.
Project Tango Prepping for Launch Into Space

Since the summer of 2013, the Project Tango team has been working closely with a team at the NASA Ames Research Center.  The goal: to integrate a Project Tango prototype onto a robotic platform, called SPHERES, that flies inside the International Space Station. The SPHERES program aims to develop zero-gravity autonomous platforms that could act as robotic assistants for astronauts or perform maintenance activities independently on station.  The 3D-tracking and mapping capabilities of Project Tango would allow SPHERES to reconstruct a 3D-map of the space station and, for the first time in history, enable autonomous navigation of a floating robotic platform 230 miles above the surface of the earth.

Project Tango and SPHERES are scheduled to be launched into orbit this summer. The future is awesome.

I am not quite sure whether this thing was ever meant to work:
1) Instead of encouraging women to act like Don Quixote - how about to create movies encouraging men and change their minds? Some guys who'd say "Hey, we hired this coder and she is no worse than other boys. And she didn't get pregnant two weeks after her acceptance. And she is not some hysterical beast. Trust me, it actually may work for you." The movies should talk the masculine way to men.
2) Not every girl is passionate about technology as well as not every boy is passionate about shopping. Do not project your desires to anyone else's mind.
3) I repeat: those who are good, do not need encourage that much. Do we need mediocre technicians?
4) many of these "techno girls" are not techno at all. They do "all that stuff"
