Discover, or return to, Oddworld in our Weekly Staff Picks promo:

Strangers wrath is awesome. Loved it back then. I felt it was a great take on the fps.

Our tips for keeping yourself occupied during that time:

No, it's not supposed to run on XP. Check the minimum requirements:
http://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_preorder

Furthermore, XP has reached its end of life long ago. Not that I personally wouldn't like XP, or actually Windows 2000 (the user interface is worlds better than the interface formerly known as metro, the system requirements are much lower than anything since then,...), but it is simply a huge security risk to run an OS with known vulnerabilities which will never be fixed, at least if the computer it is being run on is connected to a network, or has USB ports/removable media drives. XP installations are a very interesting target for malware, because they are easy to infect due to the publicly known security vulnerabilities present on nearly every XP installation, and they are still widespread enough, that automatic infection and incorporation into botnets is worthwhile...

Sometimes, medieval settings are better with a splash of authenticity, not dragons and magic. That's why we're bringing you some History Lessons at up to 70% off with the likes of Stronghold HD and Expeditions: Conquistador. Get medieval on your foes!

It is really a great game. As most AAA titles lack Linux versions I play more indie/small games... and I will not coming back to big studios.

I don't frequent Reddit even though I have an account. I only saw it because of Google+. Because of this notice I managed to get a copy for my two sisters and my father. Go GoG!

I've had Steam offline mode fail on me in the past.

I only buy from them for really cheap now, or take the keys from a Humble Bundle, and will definitely wait for a GOG release as it'll work for me when Steam locks me out.

I didn't buy from them at all for the longest time, but I had gone back to console gaming and was renting discs, I pretty much view Steam as a RedBox now that I'm back on PC again.

I'll pre-order from GOG, and I've only really been disappointed by Divinity: Dragon Commander, because I know that my games are going to work when I buy them here.

Well, I've had a few crashes on Metro: Last Light Redux, but it's still totally playable. Less than I did on Steam with the Arkham games, and if it were bad enough I could contact GOG and have it fixed, not something that you can do with Steam.

Heck, even Origin is more likely to make things right than Steam is, and EA is the company that has screwed me over more than any other publisher.

Thank Keane!

Hopefully there will be more from Nordic, especially the games they picked up from THQ, those I'd love to buy.
