Only a fool breaks the 2 second rule

When the vehicle in front passes a fixed reference point, like a sign post or a lamp post, start to count ‘One Elephant, Two Elephant’.
I would recommend you to use the phrase* "only a fool breaks the two-second rule".* At regular talking rate. This phrase takes 2 seconds to say and also reminds yourself of the significance of the rule.
So if you pass the reference point before you’ve finished counting 2 seconds then you need to increase the distance between your car and the vehicle in front.
In rainy conditions, this gap should be at least 4 seconds and in icy conditions the distance needs to be increased even more.

Good Driving Instructors Complaining

After talking to few Driving Instructors I am hearing the same story. Highly qualified Instructors are complaining that money and time they’ve spend on studying to be a good instructor may not be worth at the end, as more and more pupil are just looking for cheap lessons rather than quality and experienced instructors. The first question, a pupil looking to start lessons, ask is how much you charge,

What the pupil don’t realise is that cheap instructor at the end will cost them much more and add extra stress of taking few attempts before they can get their pinky!

In average a pupil spends about £1000 to £1100 to pass their test with a good instructor at a reasonable price. According to statistic it takes about 40 hours of quality lessons to pass first time. However, if you a pupil was to take cheap lessons he or she may have to take much more lessons and few attempts before passing the driving test. At the end they become more hesitant and poor driver who spend lot more to get the full UK licence.

What do you guys think?

Cyclists bring benefit but It's eating up space on the roads. Causing to narrow the roads making it unsafe for wider road users.

Waiting restrictions
Waiting restrictions indicated by yellow lines apply to the carriageway, pavement and verge. You may stop to load or unload (unless there are also loading restrictions as described below) or while passengers board or alight. Double yellow lines mean no waiting at any time, unless there are signs that specifically indicate seasonal restrictions. The times at which the restrictions apply for other road markings are shown on nearby plates or on entry signs to controlled parking zones. If no days are shown on the signs, the restrictions are in force every day including Sundays and Bank Holidays. White bay markings and upright signs (see below) indicate where parking is allowed.
