Just one more day left to nominate candidates for the GNOME Board of Directors. Are you considering running for the Board? Read Cosimo's story for some perspective from a first-time Board member.

https://blogs.gnome.org/engagement/2016/05/16/cosimo_cecchi/
Meet Cosimo, a first-time member of the GNOME Board. Cosimo has a long history of contributing to GNOME, beginning in 2007. Since then, he has remained active in various development projects. Just this last year, in July of 2015, he joined the GNOME Foundation Board of Directors.

https://blogs.gnome.org/bastian/2016/04/16/reflections-on-starting-a-local-foss-group/
Last Wednesday was no less than the third time the local FOSS group in Aalborg met. Today I'm looking back at how it all started so I thought I would share some thoughts that may help others who would like to spread free and open source software in their local area.
