- Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey ? there it is, Turkey is going to the "dark side" under President/Sultan Erdogan, as he consolidates absolute power and arrests all major opponents in military, police, press and politics. The so called "military coup" was a PR stunt last year, orchestrated by Erdogan, a sit was a "mickey mouse" coup that did not have the hallmarks of a true coup d'etat that the well armed professional Turkish Army has done in the past and is capable of doing, if it was the architect. You don't start a coup, if you are not holding President Erdogan. It was staged and played very well by the President.
Now Turkey will suffer, tourist are going to be staying away as ISIS and Kurds will retaliate for what he will unleash on them in the coming months and given he won the referendum under a state of emergency with no press, the majority of Turks did not support his power grab, and that will create major divisions in Turkey, as Istanbul was against the referendum as were other major cities.
He stole the vote and Turkey is headed an unknown future, and Europe is very careful now, forget EU entry, Turkey has shown it don't belong in a western organization, as it becomes a Islamic state, something that the founders of modern Turkey wanted to avoid.32w
