When sauce meets cream…
Apple & Cinnamon Pancakes ($19).
My favourite out of the new dishes now available at Clinton Street. Fluffy pancakes with caramelised Granny Smith apples, sinful chantilly cream and of course that maple butter sauce! I could do with more sauce and cream though. 🙊
And now Clinton Street is taking reservations through Chope App making it easier to plan for your weekend food escapades!

Charred Sugarcane Prawn Quenelles with Sriracha Mayo. My favourite nibble by Indochine during the WGS 2017 Preview. Love chewing on the Sugarcane for the sweet juice.
More about WGS 2017 soon.

Because creative work is fuelled by good Espresso Martinis. And this one at Sarnies definitely packs a punch. My go-to cafe to work at in the late afternoon/evenings.

Allow me to obsess over my new Peak Design 20L backpack that I backed on @kickstarter months ago… it's like they've thought if every possible use case and designed the most functional bag ever! I just want to run away and go on a photography adventure with my new bag right now.
The bag is still a little big for my *ahem*… height 😒 so I hope one day they come up with a smaller version of this backpack. And yes I would back that project too. My PD collection just keeps growing and with such versatile accessories it's hard not to want them all. My wallet disagrees with me though.
Looks like no more dresses for awhile so I can carry around this backpack. 😅
My only gripe is… @mysingpost for this delivery! They couldn't deliver my package so they decided to put it in a Pop Station thats a 10 Min drive away from me with no direct public transport instead of the Pop Station that's a 2 Min walk away from me. Nice one Singpost. Wish I could make you pay for my Uber to go get my package. 🙄
So I thought I could sleep early. But I just spent the last 2 hours playing with my new bag… 🤓

Cheesy Hotpot & Pagoda BBQ Steamboat! There’s 4 ways to enjoy your food so there’s no arguing between friends when you visit Flame Cafe. The base is a soup hotpot where you can even choose 2 soup bases to keep everyone happy. The next tier is a BBQ hotplate where you can grill your food in buttery goodness. On top of that is a cheese dip to coat your meats for an even more sinful (but delicious) meal. Then finally the top tier is a steamer for those who like their food a little healthier.
Had a really fun evening pigging out on seafood and meats in the air-conditioned comfort of the cafe tonight. And cheesy goodness. This place is great for comfortable, casual outings with friends and they even accommodate for large groups!
You can make reservations at Flame Cafe through Chope! Earn 100 chope dollars per reservation—then use that to redeem vouchers to visit even more restaurants!

I’m a bit of a skincare addict, so I love trying out new products, especially when they’re good for the skin and the environment too. Got to try out some Dr. Bronner’s organic products thanks to Nature’s Glory recently.
The Lavender Organic Hand Sanitizer is unlike most, it doesn’t have that smell and feel of alcohol, instead it melts into the skin and leaves a really nice lavender scent on your hands. The Organic Pump Soap is great cos it can be used for hands, face and body—great for cutting back on products and simplifying routines a little and the Organic Lotion can be used for hands and body too. It leaves a really nice scent whilst the natural oils leave a nice sheen on the skin.
These products retail at Nature’s Glory retail and online shop.

Bidding the weekend farewell~~~
It started off with this Bye Bye Blackbird cocktail at Montreux Jazz Café on Friday night.
The cocktail — meh… it was rather like a watered down ribena. Too much crushed ice, not enough alcohol and no straw/stirrer. I can't really remember turning bright red, which means… cocktail fail. Go for their beers, wines or shots instead.
The atmosphere — jazzy… love the live music, the lounge vibes, apparently I arrived too late to hear the singing, but looking forward to some bossa nova in the near future.
The company — brilliant as usual.
Time to kick off a new week with A LOT of new things to learn. Scary yet fun… sorta like a good roller coaster ride I guess. 😕

Chilled Avocado Milkshake ($12). Served with a fried sesame dumpling. The perfect end to a good meal at Mitzo, the desserts are definitely eye candy and are a more refined version of the same favourite desserts commonly served elsewhere.
