Words fail. It was all so good. Unbelievable. To start, we ordered oysters (so fresh and simply divine), the braised lamb and goat cheese ravioli (the orange zest in the cream sauce was just incredible), and escargot (so tender, coated in fresh herbs and butter). My friend ordered the braised duck (melt in your mouth, rich and perfectly seasoned), and I ordered the mussels (steamed in a buttery lemon wine sauce). My friend paired his meal with a full-bodied red wine (apologies, I don't remember which one), and I paired mine with Smoke and Mirrors (amazingly balanced). This meal was beyond beautiful. I can't describe it any other way. Go and see for yourself :)

Went here on new years eve before going out in the city. More fancy than expected. Tables were about 2 inches apart and I was good friends with the gentlemen sitting next to us. Food was good but very small portions. Also it is on the pricey side. Nothing here was bad maybe just not my kind of place.

My husband and I came here for an anniversary dinner and really enjoyed it. I noted that we were celebrating on our reservation and we were given an Happy Anniversary note signed by all the staff when we sat down. For an appetizer we went with the garlic butter escargot, which paired so well with the fresh, warm baguette. I ordered the steak frites which was good. My husband ordered the roasted cod poele which was amazing. We even ordered more bread to lap up the rest of that sauce. Finished off dinner with the apple tart dessert which was also delicious. We also received amazing service throughout the dinner. Would definitely recommend this place, and looking forward to coming back.

Good drinks. Great price. Only downside is t that the omlets are dropping in butter. I get that they're French, bit that doesn't excuse the melted stick of butter left on my page when i was done.

We go to Gaslight occasionally and have never been let down. We went last week for our anniversary and once again it was great. Our server, James, was fantastic getting everything just right and offered just the right amount of paying attention to us while we were there. We had the three course Prix Fixe dinner and can say that everything was perfect. They have the best onion soup this side of made at home. The stock is rich and the onions are slowly cooked to a translucent tenderness which makes for a good soup. Chicken and the steak frites were also perfect. The restaurant looks a lot like Balthazar in New York and the food is just as good at half the cost. You'll feel like you are in Paris eating here.

Excellent food and service. Very young and exciting spot. Spacing is cozy (re: tight), but the environment is not quiet. Bring a date but don't expect much privacy or intimacy.

This is a very popular place for brunch. I had an omelette with feta and spinach that came with fries. I found the omelette very average and really salty. My partner had a salad with tuna and thought it tasted oily. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food but it was also peak brunch time. On the bright side, our waiter was friendly and in good spirits.

Subway tiles and lanterns give this place a vintage atmosphere. The pre fixed brunch feels like stealing a little - great price for great food! The Julia Child shortbread with raspberry - yum!!
