My visit with "The Putt Doctor" Dr. Craig Farnsworth.

I always come away with great drills, techniques and thoughts that I can use for myself, and share with my golf students back home at the golf school in Toronto. This November 2015 in Palm Springs California we did a review on AimPoint and some overall drills for better speed control.... http://blog.garykentgolf.com/

If you want to be a good ball striker, you will need good posture..

Heading to Palm Springs to see my friend "The Putt Doctor" Craig Farnsworth next week. He teaches many of the tour players at his facility in La Quinta, including Nick Faldo way back when he was winning everything. I will see what new tricks and ideas he has this time around.

As you start your takeaway, be careful not to shift your weight aggressively to your back leg which in this case is the right leg. A very slight shift is ok.
But having the feeling your weight is staying even on both feet during the backswing will give you the most consistent club to ball contact.

This is a good setup for the driver. Slightly more shoulder tilt than when playing an iron shot. The lower right shoulder promotes an upward movement of the club head into the ball at contact. Creating less backspin and sidespin.
