The Galway Advertiser conducted the survey which polled 240 Galway West constituents at 24 locations across the City and County.

A County Galway child was so moved when she saw a photograph of a little girl who was diagnosed with cancer that she decided to get her hair cut and donate it to a charity that makes wigs for children with the condition.

"The elections will be a decisive factor in determining how the issue of water charges finally plays out, and, if a high level of non-payment is achieved, water charges are sure to be a major issue in the build up to and throughout the course of the election." So says Insider in his article today.
