Yes...that is its purpose .....all yoga has a detox element but hot yoga accelerates that....if you do yoga regularly,eat a balanced diet and also do another regular cardio activity you will be on your way to a better weight and overall wellbeing & health!

Yes I always felt for years that m very stiff and wont be able to do yoga coz I wasnt flexible...but since last 2 years regular practice I can now do all the poses without difficulty. ...what I think is dont do just for the sake of doing yoga...accept it and feed in ur mind the poses and ur body will flow accordingly. ...
