Excellent program! Enjoyed it very much! Particularly from a business point of view. Knowing how Trey and Peak Design got together with a significant financial investment from Trey is great background information. Trey has an open mind, experiments with things and if he likes something, then promotes it. Along the way, as in the Messenger Bag , needs several of the large bags to carry profits to the front steps of his bank! ;-) Then rinse, wash, repeat.
Kudos on The Arcanum now becoming profitable. I am curious as to what type of legal structure The Arcanum has? Assuming it remains profitable, down the line, does he intend to sell it to a larger educational training agency or does Trey envision one of his family members carrying on the business?
Trey is not only a unique photographer but an astute cyber- savvy business person. Once he discovers something he likes, he promotes it in "see what I'm up to" type of nonchalant manner. If Trey can entertain the policemen in China and get them excited about drone photography in the "Forbidden City", then he is one to be paid attention to in other ways than just photography. His parting comment: " The biggest creative gift you can give yourself is the complete dissolution of the ego." That's his main secret to the way he approaches life and business! A wise man indeed!
