We should be blunt about which foods make us sick, say Drs. Alona Pulde and Matthew Lederman. According to the doctors, defining foods by their nutrient or chemical components such as "cholesterol" is misconceived. Please read: http://www.forksoverknives.com/no-one-eats-a-cholesterol-sandwich-its-meat-milk-and-eggs-that-make-us-sick/
The USDA’s recent proposal to eliminate dietary cholesterol guidelines has positive and negative repercussions. It also reminds us why government nutritional recommendations are not reliable. In a way, we like the USDA’s change, because it supports the notion we should... Read more

Tonight's dinner was tlayuda, a traditional Mexican pizza-like dish. Made on a crispy tortilla, this version has crushed pinto beans, veggies, salsa, cashew crumble and more. 100% from plants, oil free, and unbelievably delish! Recipe will be in our parenting book, which arrives in August 2016.

Trying out some baked empanadas for our next book. We've tested a version with sweet potatoes and kale, and one with potatoes and corn—both of which turned out really nice! What plant-based filling would you want to have in your empanadas? Would love to hear your ideas!

Prevent and reverse disease with a whole-food, plant-based diet.
Introduction
The feature film Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods.
