Sumatran Tiger Cubs on ITV

For those that watched Calendar last night, you would have seen an update on the Sumatran Tiger Cub triplets.
Kuasa, Bulan and Mentari were born in March, and are therefore now 9 months old.

These 3 critically endangered tiger cubs are part of a special breeding programme, which has become a crucial part of the world-wide conservation effort.

ITV used a state-of-the-art camera drone to film footage within the tiger enclosure.

Not visited in a long time so this visit was a great experience. The variety of rides and zoo animals makes a lovely day out. Walking around adds the the atmosphere and you get a feeling your in two separate places but at once. Prices for food is as expected in any theme park.

Visited on the 26th August. Absolutely brilliant day with wife & 3 children. Nothing was over priced (which is always the problem when we have visited other attractions). Q Buster tickets were well managed and again well priced. Food was great, zoo was great. Lots of choice of rides for all ages. Was actually nice to come away surprised at just how good the day was. Highly recommended.

NEVER GOING AGAIN! I've been every year for the last 10 years but was extremely disappointed at the lack of value for money. Kumali, had a waiting time of 1hr 20mins and the Lost River Ride a waiting time of 1hr 15mins, at both rides there was no music playing whilst queuing and nothing during the lost river ride, like there used to be - in previous years it was more fun. The amount of time the lost river ride was on hold during the journey seemed excessive and every boat had the front row of seats cordoned off, which resulted in an increased queuing time. All of the rides appeared to have less capacity for rides E.g. Not as many boats, bikes, cars available, this again increased the queuing time. Staff did not seem as committed or interested this year and were giving off a negative vibe. Enjoyed the new lemur enclosure, the gentleman patrolling was informative and appeared to enjoy what he was doing. Did not enjoy the fact that exit from the park could only be made through the gift shop! This created a bottle neck when trying to exit.

me the wife and our 7 year old all had fun. lots to do, even though we went in feb and most rides are closed. the zoo was as good as any and had some entertainment for kids. our caravan in H43 was clean and warm when we arrived late afternoon. only negative was we had to make our own beds and the roads could be marked a little clearer to find your way in the dark.

Just got back from a 3 night stay with our 2 grandchildren. We stayed on site in our motorhome. Excellent weekend, kids had a fantastic time, entertained all the time with the park, zoo, swimming and evening entertainment. On our last night we booked a meal at the Mansion House and we weren't disappointed. The food was mouthwatering, presentation and service were excellent and good value for money too. I would highly recommend Flamingo land to entertain the kids on school holidays, this is our fourth time now and the kids can't wait to go back.

We decided to go to flamingo land as we had received vouchers and got in for half price. To our disappointment, two of the bigger rides were closed, alongside the zoo monorail and the cable cars! The rides that were open were amazing, and the ques were little, however, some of the staff were inconsiderate and messed around whilst fastening us in! I would defiantly not rush back any time soon, and most certainly not pay £110 to get in!!

Flamingo Land has good coasters such as the mumbo jumbo, velocity, hero etc but was not as fun or pleasant as it could be due to various reasons. We had to que up for the ride 'hero' on several different occasions due to the ride constantly breaking down and not operating properly. Another problem was the time it took to actually get on to the ride. On average we spent about 1 hour waiting to get on to each ride, which for a week day and slight rain is not good at all. Didn't get the chance to go on all the rides I wanted to due to the time it took to actually get on them, which was a little disappointing. Finally Flamingo Land needs to introduce more thrilling rides in to the park to match rivals such as Alton Towers, as the limitation of different rides compared to more established theme parks could be the reason why que times are so long. Another factor to this could be due to the lack of carts per ride and the lack of reliability on certain coasters. If they manage to address these issues in the future, it will be worthwhile visiting again.
