A fantastic family day out with something for everything. Look out for deals online such as 2 for 1 which makes it extremely worth it. Queues are not too long compared to some theme parks and the food is reasonable (again can be included in online deals). Shows such as the Pirates of Zanzibar are very entertaining. Very importantly, traffic is well-managed both at the beginning and end of the day and we experienced no queue at all to get back on to the main road.

Excellent campsite behind the resort with lots of hot showers and clean toilet blocks. A short walk from the park itself with a fairly well stocked shop on the way. The Ian itself is spotless and the rides are a good mix of bigger and smaller shows for all ages. Friendly, helpful staff are a nice bonus and the night-time entertainment is good.

I bought four animal experiences for my partner as a Christmas gift (penguins, sea lions, giraffes, meerkats) and they were all experiences to remember for a lifetime. We were so grateful and honored that we were trusted with such incredible animals. There aren't many zoos that offer this opportunity, so if you get the chance, take it! The zookeepers were incredibly friendly, relaxed, and informative. They make you feel very at ease with the animals. We plan on revisiting at some point in the future to encounter the other animals at the zoo. The on site restaurant served enjoyable winter food (stewed beef and mashed potato), and the lady serving us was lovely.

All of the rieds smelled a little but were all fun and safe, just please do not take your phone on with you unless you can securly keep it on you like zipped pockets becuase the amount of times a ride had to stop becuase some stupid person brought their phone onto the ride was too much.

we visited with a 2 and a 5 year old and if I was only rating the park on the fun they had on the day it would have been 5 *. To be honest after the experience we had with the " Jolly Roger" fish and chip place in the little monsters area, and the rudeness of the man who was doing the cooking that day, I think even 3* is being generous. The park itself is grate, they have upgraded a lot of rides and stalls and some more where under construction. A few more baby changing areas could be useful as we found ourselfs changing the toddler on a metal table in the toilets with no seclusion so was in full view of anyone washing there hands. Most of the staff where very friendly and very good with the children although a couple seemed like this was a sessional job and couldent be bothered. Onto the cook, we decided to get food as the children had eaten the food we had brought and where hungry, one of our party has celiacs disease and a severe dairy allergy. We asked if they did a gluten free menu to which the lady and the gental man looked at the cook to ask him, he laughed and said no, I felt quiet sarcastically. We then asked if the chips where cooked separate from the fish, the lady checked and we got our answer, we then asked if the side dishes had any dairy or gluten in them, both the the servers looked at the cook who hadent even lifted his head up to look at us, he shrugged and no idea, then walked off, the young man retrieved a sheet and went through the ingredients which was a sheet that had a box ticked to say if an allergy was in product, It was one of the adults in our party that had the food allergy, an epi pen is carried by the adult with the dairy allergy so it's a serious health issue, I felt the cook was unprofessional, quiet rude and honestly couldent have cared less, he wanted the order and that was that. I think the park as a whole is a grate family day out and they are continuing to update and improve things. But a separate baby changing area and a LOT of food allergies and gental dealing with customers training would be very beneficial to some of the staff.
