Becky Thompson, blogger over at Scissortail Silk, has a brand new book coming out soon called "Hope Unfolding". On our blog we have a fabulous interview with her.

"...while we live so much of our lives online, with access to millions of other moms, I don’t think that there has ever been a time when mothers have felt more alone. I fear we lack authentic relationships and community as we exchange them for digital friendships. We know facts about one another, which makes us feel like we are known, but we don’t get to connect deeply by sharing the realest places of our hearts"

Matthew 26:6-13 NLT
Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over his head.

The disciples were indignant when they saw this. “What a waste!” they said. “It could have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor.”

But Jesus, aware of this, replied, “Why criticize this woman for doing such a good thing to me? You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me. She has poured this perfume on me to prepare my body for burial. I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.”

Mom's, how many times have you wished for a mentor in your life? Someone who had talked to you about the highs and lows of marriage and how to keep Christ at the center? Barbara Rainey has a new book called "Letters to My Daughters: The Art of Being a Wife". This book is fantastic!!! If you have a daughter, or daughter-in-law then you need to get this book for them.

With Valentine's day just around the corner, we are focusing on ways to show love to others. One way we do this is by sending our employees on mission trips to give them the opportunity to serve. This week we have a team serving alongside Back2Back. Please keep them in your prayers.

Introduction

Our Mission

What we do

Lord willing, Family Christian will be a world-impacting ministry and achieve business excellence. We exist to:

  • Serve and glorify God
  • Unite people and organizations in caring for orphans and widows
  • Help people find, grow, share and celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ.

Family Christian helps to reawaken and focus your heart and mind, giving you the courage and support you need to be the active hands and feet of God.

Our Calling

Why we do what we do

James 1:27 calls all believers “…to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” This verse is the calling of Family Christian. We want to be a catalyst that helps create families near and far.

Through our products and resources, the message of Christ reaches hearts, inspires faith and strengthens families. And because 100% of what we make goes to support The James Fund and similar ministries serving orphans and widows, every time you shop with us you’re changing lives. Just like a drop that creates ripples, you’re impacting lives in a way that lasts.

  • Our products and resources help people find, grow, share and celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Our ministries and mission leaders inspire, equip and enable people to help those in need and put the power of prayer into action.
  • Our partnerships provide a wide range of options so everyone can get involved
