On February 14th The Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery will host a romantic evening with a Valentine’s Wine Dinner in their award winning restaurant in Temecula. The dinner will be a wonderful four course meal with individual wine pairings of the Falkner’s best wines in this panoramic, hill-top location. The dinner will offer great food, wonderful wines, live entertainment, and first class service. All food will be prepared under the direction of Executive Chef Gianni Ciciliot who has been voted “Best Chef” by readers of Inland Empire magazine. There will be reservations available for seating at this wonderful and memorable event from 5:00pm to 9:30pm.
The meal will begin with a choice of appetizers: Seared Hokkaido Scallops served over Crispy Saffron Risotto Cake with a Balsamic Grape Drizzle or Beef Carpaccio with Pickled Mushrooms, Shaved Parmesan, and Roasted Bell Peppers or Ricotta Gnocchi with Romesco Sauce, Carrots and Sautéed Pea’s and Pea Shoots with Manchego Cheese. Diners may choose either the 2013 Falkner Sauvignon Blanc or the 2012 Falkner Cabernet Sauvignon. The second course will be a choice of either Strawberry and Beet Salad with Goat Cheese, Toasted Almonds, Watercress and Arugula with a Lemon Vinaigrette or Lump Crab and Sweet Corn Bisque with Pancetta Jalapeno Garnish served with a glass of your choice between our 2013 Riesling and our 2013 Chardonnay; the entrée choices are fantastic and are either Charbroiled Certified Angus Beef Filet Mignon served with a Shrimp Brochette, Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, in an Amante Wine Reduction or the Lump Crab Stuffed Chilean Sea Bass with Champagne Risotto, Asparagus, and a Tangerine Beurre Blanc. Diners may choose either our 2013 Chardonnay or our new release 2011 Meritage-Bordeaux Style Red to accompany their entrée. Finally, there will be a dessert choice of either the Dark Chocolate Crème Brûlée with Fresh Raspberries or the House-Made Tiramisu Martini served with our 2012 Port. The price is $89 per person plus tax and gratuity. Special pricing for VIP Food & Wine club members, spouse, and their guests will be $79 per person plus tax and gratuity, and $84++ per person for other Food & Wine Club members and guests.
