Today we are mixing MMA, Strength Training and Cardio into one workout! This workout is made up of one cardio (mma) move and one strength move. We repeat each move twice then put them together for a combo! We also have a fun your choice cardio element to it at the end of each combo from you to get your heart rate pumping.

Mixed Martial Arts is such a passion of mine that this baby isn’t even going to stop me from kicking! Today we are working on our kicks. We’ll be going over 4 kicks today, the Snap Kick, Roundhouse, Push Kick and Side Kick. We are going to up the ante in this workout by adding repeater kicks and squats and lunges! This is also going to get that heart rate up with HIIT training through out this whole workout!

What do you get when you mix Martial Arts Legs and Yoga? A killer leg workout. This is a quick Yoga leg scorcher to get a great quick sweat on while not going to total HIIT craziness. This workout has two long round and builds up to a final combo at the end. The first round revolves around the Sun Salutation, leg lifts, lunges and kicks. While the last round really digs into those gluten with the chair pose and kick holds!

We are going back to our MMA roots today guys. We’re bringing back the old cardio template with the 4 30 second combo builds then a final combo of all the moves for 45 second, 5 seconds rest guys. Sometimes 20 minutes is all we have and if you have a few weights this in and out 20 minute no crunch workout is awesome! This workout is only 3 rounds each done twice. There are two standing ab moves and 2 plank core moves! Feel free to change the intensity as you see fit but give it your all!

We haven’t done an official low impact workout in a while! So today we are doing a real low impact, prenatal safe Muay Thai Combo workout! This is a 40 minute workout with 4 rounds. Each round has 4 45 second exercises and 1 full 60 minute final combo at the end. So be ready throw tons of knees and kicks!

Today is a quick core challenge. We will be holding plank for this workout and to make things even more difficult we will be adding leg and arm raises to these holds! You can modify this workout by doing it on your knees or even intensify it more by doing this in a Hover instead of a Plank! This workout has 3 rounds. Each round has 4 30 second moves, with a final hold for 45 seconds.

Strength day! Today we are using muscle confusion to really strengthen our muscles. This workout is a mix of repetitions, holds, balance, upper middle and lower body. In other words the whole shebang lol. This workout uses the same template of full rep, slow rep, pulses, holds and a combo at the end.

We are reviewing Brett Hobble’s 20 Minute Body 4X4 Phase 1 and 2 and HIITMAN Phase 3! I can say that the 4X4’s were awesome, they focused mainly on Capoeira which you all know that I love and in true Brett fashion upped up the anti every round. Each exercise is a minute long and really pushes your endurance. The last round “The Spice Round” as Brett calls it is amazing and really puts all the movements you learn together. In HIITMAN you incorporate a weight to the routine and it makes the cardio that much sweeter! In true cross training fashion your heart rate is up and you have a great pump going!

Pushing Through!
Introduction
I am a disabled woman who fights through constant pain to do day to day things. I was in a car accident back in 2006 which left me disabled in my right arm. I suffer from nerve damage constant pain and loss of motion. 

I workout almost everyday and now have start my own series of workouts called Pushing Through. I have been inspired by programs such as BodyCombat, BodyAttack, Insanity and Tapout XT and the many amazing Youtube fitness channels.

I am knitter in my free time and love making wears for people. Sammy my daughter has rediscovered my love of Pokemon oh ya I'm a dork.

Sammy and my Husband Randy are my life. I'd be nothing with out them. I push through the pain for them!
