Difference between LEFT and RIGHT Outer Join in SQL
One of the most confusing concept to master in SQL is Joins, I find it quite similar to Recursion, some heads picks it up naturally but others can't even after lot of practice. This is one reason why Join is popular on any SQL interviews. One of the frequently asked question is Difference between RIGHT and LEFT Outer join, some will simply ask difference, others will ask you to write query. In Outer Join, non-matching records are also included in final result and depending upon, whether you are using RIGHT or LEFT outer join, non-matching rows from corresponding tables are included and for null is used to fill values for columns which comes from other table.  See more here http://javarevisited.blogspot.com/2013/05/difference-between-left-and-right-outer-join-sql-mysql.html

We have a bias toward using cheap metrics over more expensive (or impossible) to measure quantities.  Meteorologists sometimes perform adjoint analyses to determine where more data gives the most bang for the buck.  That is, an adjoint tells you where a unit of initial condition error gives the largest variance in outcome.

When was the last time you saw that done in another field?

We are flush with cheap metrics without asking ourselves if the variables we can predict with those cheap metrics are the ones we really want.

All too often agencies will claim that campaigns were successful solely out of fear of clients' reactions.
