Excellent service. I was very pleased with my room overlooking the Alamo. The location was great but parking could have been explained better. There is no parking other than the lots around that charge 22 dollars per 8 hours. They do offer Valet service for 30 bucks which is cheaper but wish that would have been explained on the website. Other than that it was great! Will stay here again.

Very nice historical hotel. Convenient to The Alamo and the Riverwalk. Friendly staff and great view of the area at night. Only bummer is parking but it's a downtown area where cars weren't an issue then so parking is paid at all locations.

During my stay at the Emily Morgan Hotel I experienced no issues directly with the Hotel room, and their staff. However, with the USA Valet Parking service the experience certainly was not the same. My first encounter with the staff when I arrived was that it took over 15 minutes for someone to come valet my car, and provide assistances with my bags. I looked pass this as I assumes it was a result of them being busy provided that it was spring break. So this was somewhat understandable, however my second encounter was quite the same. I do as we are instructed to do by the valet employee’s, and call the front desk to inform them to bring around my vehicle #258, 5 to 15 minutes before hand. Well I arrive downstairs within 10 -15 minutes, to the unexpected issue of still having not having my vehicle pulled up front. After waiting patiently for about 15-20 minutes, I noticed others around me were getting into their vehicles that came down after me. I noticed this and begin to ask the gentlemen where my car was, he proceeded to inform me that they brought around the wrong car. I again waited another 10 minutes to receive my vehicle. In my third encounter I had just arrived back to the hotel after a late evening out, when I arrived no valet contact was available to assist with taking my car. I had to get out of my vehicle, and go inside the hotel to get a valet employee to come out and park my car. I was under the impression that this company was about hospitality parking, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. It only gets better the next day, so in my fourth encounter the morning I am to depart from the Emily Morgan Hotel, I come down with my bags only to discover that my vehicle has been damaged while either being parked or someone parking next to it. Regardless of which it is it had been damaged, and needless to say I was upset. I rush into the hotel to get a manager, who called the valet manager. After seeing the damage done to my vehicle he informed that they have room to park 88 cars in a specific valet parking area. Any overflow, as they call it is parked in the public parking area. I have a bit of a problem with this, I’m being charged $35 a night, but you park my car in the same location everyone else parks. It seems to me that the idea of overflow and accommodation of true valet parking capabilities doesn’t mean anything to this company. On that note, I have to give the hotel 2 stars. While I did enjoy my stay at the hotel, the valet service was just horrible, and for that reason I won’t be paying this particular hotel another visit. If you decided to stay, be aware of the valet service, and be prepare to express your concerns with their service.

Went to pick up a friend staying there and it was nice. I went in and saw their room which wasn't bad. Literally across the street from the Alamo, Alamo Plaza, and an entrance to the Riverwalk. It's also haunted. Notice I didn't say said to be haunted, it is. When walking back out to the car, the lights in the hall flickered. No big deal except at that same moment, it got extremely cold. It was comfortable before but it was like you walked into a walk in cooler, except no noise. We never saw or heard anything but we both said we felt like we should leave the area where we were standing. We laughed about it later but it got weird for a moment.

A few months ago Me and my friends Went to the bar for a few drinks and I never had a chance to order anything. We sat at the table with nothing to drink not even water for about 20 minutes. Then , I waited another 20 minutes before the waitress came back again. Apparently , the wait staff was not working very well with the bartender because she looked bothered and in a bad mood . 40 minutes to just get water , I would never stay here.

The hotel was gorgeous, staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the views were spectacular and they really reassured the decision my wife and I made but spending our wedding night there with them. We'll be back again to celebrate our anniversary every year moving forward!
