I have been wanting to try Powder facial cleansers because they are such a big hit in Japan right now. The Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder is perhaps the most popular and best-selling drugstore brand powder facial cleanser in Japan. So I decided to pick this up to try when I was in Japan. This is also the most expensive item I have bought in a Japanese drugstore.

There is a common saying that, "if you have not been to Nishiki Market, it is almost like you have not been to Kyoto at all". Established more than 400 years ago, Nishiki Market is one of the oldest and best-loved food markets in Japan. #Japan #Travels

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by mountains and natural scenery on all sides, Arashiyama is a perfect place to unwind. The area is absolutely stunning and you will find beauty in every direction. Be sure bring to have your camera ready, or you may regret. This is definitely a must-see destination for those visiting Kyoto. #Japan

Walking through the thousands of Torii gates gave me a sense of peacefulness and quietude. Fushimi Inari Taisha is definitely a must see destination for those visiting Kyoto. After three hours, I left Fushimi Inari Taisha with the feeling that I had not seen enough. I told myself someday, I will be back and when that happens, I will make sure I hike all the way to the top. #Japan #Travels

Arriving at Kansai International Airport in Osaka, we traveled to Kyoto Station by the JR Haruka train. The entire train ride took about 75 minutes. We arrived at Kyoto Station, the second largest station building in Japan after Nagoya. Exiting from the ticket gate, we headed straight to check in our Airbnb apartment located near to Kyoto Station... #Japan
