— as of last game I'm putting Justin on my trade list too. We could get some serious players for him. Add him to a pick at the draft and we might get an A list defenseman in return.
I can understand him being overworked in this game, but the kind of bonehead plays he can be forced into when he's lost his concentration is more of a liability than every before.
The game with Winnipeg was as close to a playoff level game as our guys are going to see this year and they couldn't cut it. We're not very deep right now and our first visit to the playoffs (whenever that is) will be a dismal showing if we can't lose a couple of players to injury without foldng up the tent.
There are some good guys in our system. But we haven't gotten all we wanted from Justin so I think it's time to send him away. I also think it would shake up our prospects a little to see someone who got a fair shake at making a difference being shipped off.
Yakupov was on my list at the start of the year but he's played his way into the reserve pile. I still hope he becomes the dangerous player he should be in the next season. If not, then he's back on the list.
Our defence line up is as full of holes as our goalie line up. Any one player can be the difference on any given game. That's not a good thing in this NHL.
