Terminal 2 is brand new, very modern and well laid out, with plenty of shops and a few restaurants/pubs. Terminal 1 has been completely done up, and is more modern, in line with the new terminal 2. Flying with Aer Lingus is just flawless now, and it's so easy to find your way around in both terminals. Traveling to/from the airport : use whether Dublin buses (41, 16 or AirLink) or taxis (they're fairly cheap). You'll have staff on site to guide and inform you on travel solutions and fares.

Terminal 1 is probably good if your not a Ryanair passenger, Ryanair check in is conpletely crowded and at one point we couldn't even find line we were in because there was just so many people. However, security is fast and easy. The departure lounge has lots of space and restraunts. The only problem seems to be check in if your a Ryanair passenger. We previously went wih Thomson, a T1 operator to Rhodes and check in was ok from there.

Returning from Scotland to Terminal 1 was a horrorific experience. Passport control reminded me of Istanbul without the friendliness of the Turks. After 20 minutes I arrived at a booth only to find the people queuing at the next window coming in sideways because of some impasse thus obliterating any lines on the floor. I then made the mistake of standing too close to my wife which produced a "Gestapo" like shout from the female civilian officer to stand back. The "Gestapo" approach continued as my passport was examined while every hair on my head was counted. It was not personal as everyone was subject to the same scrutiny hence the delay. This was despite the fact that I was an Irish citizen traveling within the common travel area. Don't expect Ireland of the welcomes at Dublin Airport. Oh for the days when the police operated passport control with good humour and common sense.

Airport is clean and security processes were fast and smooth. Food options were adequate, and plenty of gift shops to stop by at. Easy airport to navigate.

Dublin Is a fairly modern and clean airport. There aren't many dining or shopping options past security, so check out the good choices before it. Security moved fairly quickly and check in was pleasant. The parking feels like a long walk from the terminal. Gates were fairly clean and had an average number of power outlets.

Probably the worst airport I've experienced. A place where you do not want to spend the night at the airport flight delay in Dublin, Ireland. If you are unlucky and have to wait 16 hours for the next flight, and even at night, then God help you. At the airport, apparently - covers Terminal - ruled by an external company full of Polish Jews, because they claim any area of the airport. After -ti hour flight you have additional wait because the company can not keep an eye on the time for the next years. Comfort and sleep forget it, either will flow through a "manager" of McDonalds (Read 25 -Those old Capek from Poland or his equally dumb blonde) than or equal to the airport, "the police". You can simply just eating poisoned products McDonalds or other external companies always only in a designated box, or you have to wait outside. The staff of these companies makes every night a mess chairs and tables that fundamentally shifts the ground, so that made the greatest noise. Ejects you from nedojedeného dishes from the table because they go "clean". They act like morons - Poles. And so, no, there's more polish than English at home. Ugh!
