I thought Episode III (Revenge of the Sith) was great. Check it out on Blu-ray some time.

TL,DR bad usb-c cables could fry your stuff. beware!

My team at Google has been very big proponents and innovators of USB Type-C. I've worked on two Pixel products now that use the connector and its related technologies (Power Delivery, Alternate Mode, USB 3.1). It really is an amazing little connector.

However, now that there are more and more Type C products rolling out from Nexus, One+, Nokia, and more, this I have found painfully true : USB Type-C will only be as good as its ecosystem, and more specifically, the worst of its ecosystem.

I have started reviewing USB cables on Amazon because I have gotten fed up with the early cables from 3rd party vendors that so blatantly flaunt the specification and I want to hold them to task.

You may not just get weird behavior from your devices with these bad cables... What some these vendors are doing is downright dangerous.

I've been contemplating setting up a blog where I document bad cables and perhaps give some insights into USB Type C as well.

Nothing too exotic on the retro diner menu, but what I have was executed to exceed my expectations - salad was iceberg lettuce, for instance, but Crispi and fresh. Pesto was very flavorful, too. Also, you can actually get a fresh cup of coffee at 4am.

Spacious, light rooms feature an intriguing mix of historical and modern chic. Extremely friendly service with high-touch feel -- courtesy snacks and beverages in lounge, etc. Very convenient location --several good restaurants and local shops within a block, about a 10-minute walk from the Peabody and other Salem museums. Free parking in nearby lot.

Amazing omelets - thin, but light and fluffy, with generous amounts of ingredients. Friendly, cheerful service, good coffee. We were staying in the area for about a week, I think we had breakfast at Kari's 3 or 4 times.

Well-appointed room, great view. Outstanding location - easy walk to several outstanding restaurants, performing art center, 10-15 minute walk to RISD Museum, Providence Station, etc. Friendly service. Robust, easy-to-use free Wi-Fi.

Stayed in one of the King Suites - spectacular sunset.sunrise views over the lake from the room, very generously spaced, beautiful modern fixtures and decor. Giant bathroom with 2 sinks. Free Wi-Fi required sign-in, but worked well. Continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, but everything else more than compensated.

We actually made 2 visits in the course of a week when staying nearby. Everything was good quality -- Caesar salad was notably good, salad bar had large variety of fresh ingredients and a number of prepared salads, also really liked the Mahi-Mahi bites and scallops. Not very impressed with the too-sweet speciality cocktails, but good beer options.
