How do you feel about buying games via Humble Bundle?

We've done several bundles now and find it rewarding in that it gives some money to charity, and that it gives people a chance to get our games in a package deal for an extremely good price on multiple platforms PC/Mac/Linux

What are your thoughts?

I like the peace of mind that comes with having a DRM-free copy of the games that I buy as well as the Linux support that participating devs provide.  Being able to control how money gets allocated between devs, charity, and the distribution service is definitely a plus as well.

I've purchased every cross-platform Humble Bundle since I first heard about it back in 2011.  I actually think that the first bundle that I bought included Psychonauts.  Definitely recommended.

A new Kickstarter lead by Brad Muir. This is our second crowd-funded project and hopefully the second of many more to come!

We've ported 4 games so far to Linux - Ubuntu is the main supported distro and what we test on internally. Do you play games on Linux? Do you have any suggestions, comments, ideas, or even maybe something snarky to say? Very interested in the opinions of the Linux community now that we're actively porting our games.

Okay - today is the last day of the sale - if you still don't have it and were debating the purchase, don't debate any longer!

I didn't want to be pervasive with this, and I'm sure most of you already know that we're supporting Linux by porting several of our games and offering up a nice package where you can get a bundle for a killer deal. http://www.humblebundle.com/

SAN FRANCISCO - May 7, 2013 - Double Fine Productions exhibited a complete lack of humility in announcing the immediate availability of the Humble Double Fine Bundle, an incredible opportunity to receive four classic Double Fine games for—you aren’t going to believe it—the price of your own choosing.

Double Fine Productions is an award-winning, independent game development studio founded in 2000 by games industry veteran Tim Schafer. Located in San Francisco’s South of Market district, Double Fine is committed to making high-quality games with an emphasis on originality, story, characters, and fun.

Double Fine's second game was Brutal Legend, released in 2009. Since then, the studio has developed a slew of acclaimed downloadable titles, including Costume Quest, Stacking, and Iron Brigade, as well as the Kinect-exclusive Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster.
