Buttoned, smocked tote bag for you to sew!
Thought you may like to have a go at this, there's not a huge amount of smocking and the technique looks more complicated than it is. Try making the bag shorter and it makes a lovely evening bag!

Hi Debbie I have your magazine Sew Inspired I think they are the best magazines of their type in publication. However like Linda I have been trying to download Paws and find it impossible to do so. Would Appreciate some help. I am afraid I am not very savvy, when it comes to computers. Shirley Campion

Supersoft Faux Leather fabric
I've found the most amazingly soft faux leather fabric, it'll be on the web site as soon as it arrives, lovely to work with and you can iron it from the back! I didn't even need to use my Teflon foot to sew it. Bring on the bags!

Zips on a Roll!
I like to use zips on a roll [or continuous zipping] for most of my projects, they are affordable and you can cut as long a zip as you need. Another neat trick is to attach two sliders, one from each end, so that they meet in the middle. Not for dressma...

How to draw the perfect heart
The perfect heart can be quite a tricky shape to draw, so
here’s my tip... fold a piece of card in half. Take a small plate, ribbon spool
or anything round of the size you want, and place it over the fold. Draw around
the curve. Then take a ruler, and dra...

Introduction

 www.debbieshore.tv

Who am I?

Well, I'm a mum of three grown up children who has a passion for sewing and encouraging others to sew. I'm an author of eight sewing books, with four more on the way, and am currently designing my own range of kits, cds and projects.I demonstrate at needlecraft shows and on Create and Craft TV, and write for several sewing magazines. My husband is a very talented photographer who makes my books look inspiring and I have a loyal pup called Alfie who I adore!

I love walking in the countryside, being in the sunshine and hugging my children.
